Absolutely. I said it earlier. Maxey with the bonehead panic play of all time trying to pass the ball from the ground. Wrap it up, and you or the coach call time out. Really simple. He panicked.

But 2 things can be simultaneously true. The sixers shit the bed in an incredible way that they seem to have mastered, yet had the refs not egregiously fucked up, they wouldn't have had the chance to do so.

2023/2024 NBA THREAD: WHO WANTS TO GO ON PARADE?!?

Miami up 6 at the start of the 4th.

Ok, I know Miami is probably gonna lose this game, and I know they are losing the series, and I know there are Cs fans on this board I like and don’t want to be miserable …

    BUT

… I am totally salivating at the potential drama from Miami dumping Boston out of the playoffs in the first round.

Celtics choked. Again. What is it with these guys? Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

If Miami does bounce Boston, they will deserve every last bit of ridicule.

Yup. However, let's wait a few more games before we start saying things like bounce.

I don't expect it to happen. At. All. Miami shot 23-43 from 3. One off their team record for made 3s, and at an insane percentage.

2023/2024 NBA THREAD: WHO WANTS TO GO ON PARADE?!?

Lakers fans chanting “refs you suck” is peak irony. Biggest 2 year stretch of free throw differential in modern NBA history. STFU. It’s fair to argue they would have missed the play in if it wasn’t for the refs.

So nice 76ers get a win. 1 game at time and all that. Embiid now has the record for fewest fga for 50 pts in the playoffs.

Hilarious flop by the king himself. This is so pathetic:

But he also had some circumspect - at best - plays during the game.

Draymond: 21 flagrants in 970 total games played (15 flagrants in 813 regular season games played and 6 flagrants in 157 playoff games played)

Embiid: 23 flagrants in 489 games played (16 flagrants in 433 regular season games and 7 flagrants in 56 playoff games)

There a video going around youtube compared Jordan getting fouled and simply getting up and attacking even harder, vs LeBron's flopping. I know, I know, different eras. But I love the video. Like there's any debate at all over who is the GOAT. Has.

No idea how Embiid didn't get tossed for grabbing the dudes legs while on the ground. Really poor form.

Fair, but I love it when a crowd gets raucous. Logic is secondary, ya know? Nasty home arena crowds are awesome.

Refs really tried to keep Philly in that game. Man, I like watching Brunson's game so much more than Embiid.

Embiid is definitely one of my least favorite players to watch. Him passing up the jumper, not dunking and trying to foul bait was pretty much the summation of why. You're 7 ft. 300#'s, just dunk the fucking ball.

Along with constantly trying to injure opponents with dirty plays.

Yeah, they’re not playing sharp or with a killer instinct.

Was it me or did that floor in Miami seem slippery last night? There were a whole bunch of slips and slides around when Holiday went down, kept the dribble alive at least as far as the refs were concerned, got back up, and scored. Hopefully the floor had nothing to do with Porzingis's injury.

Anyway, go Boston! Get it done!

Don’t worry Lakers, you guys are the in season tourney champs and no one can take that banner away from you! [emoji23]

Rumor has it they might waste a second round draft pick on Bronny. That would be truly hilarious - he’s a below average college player.

Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
    Cletus: Duly noted.
