I had been asking for that for a couple of years as many other Ikon affiliates offered it. Was hoping it wouldn't come at the same time the passes went up 20%, but better late than never. Unfortunately I need full Ikon for the mountain where I have free lodging.

They have us by the adrenal glands. Going epic and Stevens sounds good until I factor in the extra 2 hours+ round trip. I guess I better just spend that time working towards a raise.

Ikon + Remedy is what we have done the last few seasons. If you look at the weekend blackouts, it's really just 2 months Jan/Feb, so 7 days is almost a day a weekend. Just make your "reservations"...

Paid parking? Hopefully they are just going to charge the snowshoe/hike crowd before the pass holders

The parking situation on ski school weekends and powder days needs to be fixed. The number of people who drive by themselves and show up after 10 am is staggering, if parking is going to cost money these people should pay the most. If it's going to be a reservation system people in ski school should get priority, they are paying for lessons, The parking at East on weekends especially on weekends needs some serious unfucking, uphill travelers are the main problem leaving little room for customers who want to use the lifts. Since many of them won't follow the guidelines like using the designated route when the hill is open and bring their dogs with them off leash so theres dog shit in places like the unloading ramp and lift maze or getting to close to groomers working there's going to be some skinner tears in the future. Once lots are full people need to be turned away, like leave the pass and go somewhere else GTFO. Some days I just want to fire up the D10 and commence Operation Killdozer and take care of the illegal parking. That's my rant

The parking on the access road that should be open for emergency vehicles is infuriating. I make sure to tell them as they are changing outside their teslas.
The upper 3 lots are essentially ski school lots on the weekends aside from a handful of kooks that showed up on time, and the tourons that showed up 1st... then theres the assholes who park on the road.
From an affordability standpoint, asking a family to pay close to 1500 for 5 weeks of lessons per kid , and then have to pay/ reserve parking on top of that is pretty rough.

Wildside gets a new lift too. That old fixie will sweep your legs out if you let it..

Is it just too sketchy for tow trucks to tow on snowy roads and tight parking lots? The repo guys on TV seem to always FITFO. If the summit put out the word to every tow yard within 40 miles that it was open season on illegal parking, it would seem like the towyards (and uber drivers) would make a killing.

How many cars would you estimate can be legally parked across all four Alpy lots before its deemed full? And many '24-'25 Alpental Plus passes, which come with "winter parking", will be available for sale? I'd guess way more than the parking lots can accommodate on a big weekend pow day. So "winter parking" still may involve a shuttle ride from Central on those days.

A shuttle ride from the tubing area if you’re lucky.

No worries! Boyne is taking lessons from Alterra with regard to parking.

^^^ I hope Boyne doesnt take another page out the Xstal/Stevens parking playbook and start bussing people up from a park N ride in North Bend as overflow "included complimentary winter parking".

I was poking fun at the underlying unabashed overselling and profiteering of public resources by private corporation.

Has anyone received their email yet that allows us our early season "discounted" rates?

Yep - The adult Alpental Plus pass will run you $829 + tax which pencils out to $901. Ouch.

Last year they encouraged you to sign up for the BoyneRewards program. It sounded dumb/gimmicky, but it turns out it basically gives you 5% back to use on this year's purchase. Easy $67 to redeem in my case.

How many days do you get a season on a pass? Everything is more expensive. Minimum wage is pretty high now, fuel, maintenance.

Say you only get 30 days, that’s only $30 a day. Seems like a bargain these days. Mission raised pass prices 7% to $800. I’m usually 60-70 days, that’s roughly $11-13 a day. I’m not going to complain about it.

I wouldn't feel bad either if I got that many days in. Summit pass is up 40% since 21/22.

    150/759 == 19.76% increase for 24/25 over 23/24.
