We missed parking by about 15 minutes (late start). Briefly considered parking with the 100-200 cars on 6 below the entrance. Ended up bailing and hitting Copper.

Never seen so many cars parked on the road. A Basin employees were threatening tickets and towing. Anybody know if that actually happened?

I left around 2:45ish yesterday heading down and didn’t see a tow truck, sheriff, or hp. Unlike gaper day last year.

Said to my wife I can believe they are not towing, especially the fuck faces parked with their car in the lane.

Kid got into the east wall on his first day ever there today — said it was a boulder field to pick thru for the first couple hundred feet in north pole but now he’s talking about maybe just getting a basin pass next yr instead of ikon

Still no where near as bad as the Epic years. Lift lines were totally moderate most of the day. Plenty of terrain to spread people out. I got there at 6:30 for a beach spot. Skied all day. Sunscreen would have been nice.

I suppose as to be expected it was a shitshow out there today. The E NE wind really did a number on a lot of things but there was some nice snow to be found in places, beavers were really good. Good day for cars to be parked below the widowmaker

They definitely forgot to widen and lengthen the maze then tried to do that at like 8:30 when there were already a shitload of people in line. It looked like it was back to the hog when I was waiting for first chair. It did start to chill out after 3 laps but beavers wasn’t open first thing then everyone went back there and I saw that line like I’d never seen it. To be fair the snow was way better back there. Left before zuma opened because I had to work.
