I know it’s not really comparable as it’s different equipment / different scale …
But the *way* they are going about communicating the issues and how they are addressing the customer experience seems to contrast pretty sharply versus the larger hill to the south, doesn’t it? (Really, both hills to the south, I got stuck on Peak 2 at WP for nearly 45 mins during a cold storm last month and Customer Service desk folks didn’t even seem to think that any kind of consolation, cafeteria credit, even just a cup of hot chocolate, or a genuine “I’m sorry we’ve had multiple days of issues on that chair and I’ll ask management for an update” was warranted)

Mt Brokenchair sez Hold My Beer

This is about 1245, 5 min after they opened Summit

Madd Propz to Patrol - they ran all of their AC routes in 2 hours. There were a few hand charges

Yup Hoodoo’s equipment is not as complex as Mt Brokenchair, but Chuck/Matthew also bring a much bigger sense of urgency to the party.

Sounds like Customer Service at Willie’s Ass hasn’t changed with new management

Oh yeah, Sky went down for about an hour this AM. Fortunately an instructor from MBSEF warned us off before we dropped into Cliffhanger

Delicious left overs for short turn skis.
Word on the hill is Summit was dense wind packed. Maybe Thursday.
    Soft funs.

No one works anymore. Keeping this post short, as I have to get back to work...

    Hey Mags.

Making the journey from Mecca to the PNW to ski with the nieces at Batchelor on 3/22-3/25. Would love to turn and burn with anyone who is about when they inevitably break for hot cocoa. Ask for change if you see me.

Also, I could use a loner setup if anyone has something to spare as I will be traveling light. Something around ~190 long and in the middle fat waist zone. Thanks in advance, I know all about Oregonian hospitality. Holla.

If you’re passing through Hood River/Hood on the way to Bend/Bachelor, I can set you up with a pair of skis

Thanks, T., for offering. I'm thinking probably you two have turned before, maybe with me.

I just wanna throw out there that altho lindenle has a low post count, he is all Teton mag, a top shelf skier and can throw down pretty hard. He just made a hella mark on the EuroBBI24 shenanigans tour.

That's why he needs some loaners.
Appreciatates any good options from the O bros.

Lindenle, I got a couple pairs of sticks you can choose from. Demo bindings so we should be able to make them work. Shoot me a PM and I’ll send you my digits.

Very strong chance my family and I will be taking up permanent residence in SW Washington; Vancouver area this summer.

Is anyone willing to give me the general rundown on if nearby touring options?
What resort oriented passes to purchase in sutton to a meadows pass?.. maybe ikon for quick bird trips etc...?

I'm interested to know what snowmobile access skiing exists as well since i might finally be able to afford one.

Getting pumped. Please PM if beta not appropriate for public consumption. Thx!

With or without a sled, st Helens and Adams should be on your radar. Adams access is bunk without a sled until April/May. Hood has a few good spots that are much easier to access year round.

As close as possible, that doesn't suck? Ideally, less than two hours.
