Damn! Should be fun! Just returning that morning from a B.C. Heli trip… will have to be a game time decision to see if I have any adrenaline left to get up there to enjoy with Matty, Drew, Pat and the gang….

My gopro battery is shot and I hate wearing it anyway, so overly zoomed pics of tracks you can see from the lift it is!

I've started calling it Restaurant Point. It's become one of my favorites. Super aesthetic, techy approach, nice fun size, no one hits it so the landing is always fresh, and the landing is just north facing enough that it holds pow even when most of that face is baked. Thanks again!

The Y looks like Main Chute when it's open, crazy. I'm half tempted to boot it with alpine gear.

Unclear. The announcement said all "terrain" below Little Cloud would be closed, not all "lifts."

I wonder if your son is friends with my buddies sons who were staying in a hut down in the La Sals this weekend. Their pics look the same. I really want to get down there and it looks like they caught a great window.

Hey, anybody have a handle on when DV lot starts filling up on weekends? I'm hoping to find some remaining snow using the free Wasatch Benefit day from SB pass. Seems like DV gets tracked out in the number of days that SB is tracked in minutes. Thanks,

I was there Friday. We tried to access the Mayflower gondola lot at 9:05 and it was full. We drove down to snowpark, arrived at 9:25 and the last lot was 99% full. We did get a space. I'd say 8:40 at Mayflower and 9:15 at Snowpack is a safe bet. Of course, you can always find a spot in the Silver Lake hotel lots for $50.

Alterra has definitely had a negative impact on the quality of skiing at DV.

My son's group was staying in town, but I imagine they crossed paths. They were in the gold basin area both Fri and Sat. and he mentioned there were several other groups around.

we just gonna keep blaming all these decisions and outcomes on this and that and the other and ignore that the problem is there's just too many of us that want it and that the fact that you got it before it got crowded 20 years ago doesn't make you entitled to skip to the front of the lift line in these more crowded times?
