This is bullshit, no gun. How dare you post info like this. Your twitter friend sent a message to a Marshal about a gun. Bad deal to say the least.
This guy sounds unreasonably angry. Coincidence?

FWIW to all it appears that profile has been deleted. Doesn't lend credibility to the post IMO but who knows.

The lady says it's "pretty windy" up there but not even close to wednesday, and apparently not windy enough to shut down any lifts. Obv. pretty windy in the valley but I don't think it's really started in earnest yet.

I'm gettin a new roof over the last windstorm last August, bring it!

Actually skied really well today, I didn't notice any wind more than usual. Considering just skipping the weekend though, sounds like it could get rough on Saturday.

How about those winds overnight? Should make for an interesting day. There should be a lot closed today.

I am offering this as a PSA rather than a wtf based on the number of people I saw running and riding bikes this morning.

The only EPA monitor currently transmitting data for PM10 is the Hawthorne with an AQI of 345 and PM2.5 of 119. In Sandy the PM2.5 is 168 with no PM10 data. Stay safe out there.

Weird. Purple air is showing something completely different.

Also, riding with this kind of headwinds would suck ass.

the Apple Weather data also completely misses the mark. I have not seen an 8AM update in AirNow.

KSL air map also showing green across the board. Headwinds suck but it's the crosswinds that will get you. Wasn't too bad down in the Dell.

I'm not feeling too optimistic about even getting some lower mountain action.

Here's the map I go to for real time air quality data:
    https://meso2.chpc.utah.edu/aq/cgi-b...n=GSL&var=PM25

Sure can get nasty in these wind events.

Yeah, that one sits on a Trax train in the belly of the valley, super urban and along transportation routes. I like the localized readings that purple air gives.

brutal at snowbasin, little cat and wildcat only two lifts open. Called it after two runs. Snow was garbage and a wind layer of dirt on top of the snow. Hope tomorrow is better.
