I'm thinking just remove the old appliances from the front yard, slap on some vinyl siding and 15 yr asphalt shingles. The workers have to live someplace.

They announced a $20B Intel gigafactory in east bumfuck Ohio as part of that program. Turns out a lot of the land around it was already owned by a combination of Honda, Ohio State and big Ag. Any workforce housing will have to be new construction or 50 miles away in Columbus. I too was saddened by the lack of opportunity to profiteer off this massive project.

Snow Ridge has had some bad luck this past year. That was one of the lifts that got hit by a tornado last summer. It was just inspected, state approved and reopened like a week ago.

On a more cheerful note, Plattekill’s patrol fundraiser chicken bbq dinner is next Saturday (kind of snuck up on me). The food is from Brooks bbq in Oneonta.
