You mean the bamboo shit my wife buys? Supposed to save trees I guess. Seems to me that if you're a tree and you let yourself be turned into paper towels instead of a house or a bedroom set you deserved to be cut down.

    Cybertrucks are already rusting.

"It seems the stainless steel panels of the Tesla Cybertruck are not really stain “less,” and are turning out to be no less susceptible to stains than stainless kitchen appliances, which easily develop grease and water stains. Some Tesla Cybertruck owners are reporting persistent orange stains on the exterior of their EVs, which could be early signs of rust and corrosion, according to Futurism.

Despite the recent release of these Tesla EVs — and the little road time they’ve been subjected to — Cybertrucks are already developing imperfections on their body panels, leading owners to debate what’s causing the early signs of rust on forums...."

Ha, that is crazy and amusing. Owners should just let it get that patina look IMO - just don't ever lean on or touch the outside ever again!

If I asked AI to paint me a moose-themed placemat, this would be a decent response.

My first thought was "are those moose antlers?!?"

Supermoon--you might want to take that picture down, before your house becomes a pilgrimage site for moose.

Honestly, that would be awesome. Not sure how they’d get up the elevator, but otherwise 10/10 idea.

That coffee spill looks like a rusting cybertruck if you crop it just right

Fuck that. Electric? For that money I'll put it towards a Defender. Not knocking Jeeps (I have a 2017 Wrangler) but 80K is ridiculous.

So I’ve gone real off-roading once, and it was in an area that was really close to the driver’s house so we just drove there, but I mean wouldn’t it make more sense if you wanted this type of vehicle to have a normal vehicle and tow your really cool off-road vehicle? I mean treat it like flyfishing or skiing where you just drive to the trailhead and use your equipment after that?

What I don't get are people that pull a 4x4 using a tow bar rather than trailer it. Odometer counts up that way, and those expensive meaty off road tires take wear. Why not trailer it, since you're towing something regardless?

Right? That's why the US needs access to the Jimny.

It's not 1977. Odometers aren't analog anymore nor are they attached to anything.

So putting my car on jack stands and letting it go in reverse won’t roll back my odometer?

Newer vehicles, sure. There's plenty of old jeeps, samurais and desert runners getting towed around by RVs down here though. And comment about wear on components is true for all vehicles.

There’s still an electrical connection between the sensor on the wheel and the ECM to odometer

When you check out the clearance aisle at a store to see steep discounts like this one! Took this picture at a Gamestop the kids and I popped into at the mall. Made me chuckle.
