So I’ve gone real off-roading once, and it was in an area that was really close to the driver’s house so we just drove there, but I mean wouldn’t it make more sense if you wanted this type of vehicle to have a normal vehicle and tow your really cool off-road vehicle? I mean treat it like flyfishing or skiing where you just drive to the trailhead and use your equipment after that?

What I don't get are people that pull a 4x4 using a tow bar rather than trailer it. Odometer counts up that way, and those expensive meaty off road tires take wear. Why not trailer it, since you're towing something regardless?
