Was there yesterday and I'll be there tomorrow but I had to work today dammit. You ever notice how much working can be an inconvenience when the skiing is good?

There should be plenty left tomorrow even if these flurries don't deliver as there is some breeze in the alpine. Holiday visitors are around but don't seem to be tracking out much.

I know all too well which is why I only got 3 laps in before going home.

Got up and out the door at 5am planning to bust all the drifts on the skiing approach today. If left unattended, it becomes impossible to get up there unless your actually into sledding and don't suck at it. I suck at at.

Ran laps in the trees. Still low tide compared to normal year, but the skiing was really good.

Looks like the faucet might be on again. I'll be rolling at O'dark thirty in the AM if I don't get a wild hair and just go camp up there tonight. Swimmy, see you in line?

It was snowing when I left the shop at 6. Marx and Lenin collected the wind blown and were skiing well compared to liberty which got wind hammered. Lateral snow drifts every other turn. Bavaria was good but also was subject to some wind stripping. Heard from a troller that North Summit is close but not quite ready to open. Tried getting intel on the Headwaters while doing some bootfitting but no dice (I suspect they do a quiet midweek opening of Hellroaring soon). Not sure if Gullies opened today but the wind would have loaded those. Big/Ball Room could be stellar when it opens up again too.

Started on Challenger. It skied great with endless shin deep turns. Talked to a patroller and he said summit was variable with a lot of wind fuck. So I never left...probably got 20 laps.

Fun laps this morning with HobieT, thanks for the holla!

Got shown the light by an old time ridge hippy who flashed smooth, near-nonstop lines… Lesson: Never judge a book by its cover at Bridger. We went to school this morning! So good

Hard to know how good any given day will be. Think they reported 2" overnight but the first lap down Marx was sooooo good.

    I'd pay $30 for this.

But you didn't have to ride tram to find good snow today.

And our photo adventure landed some of the prettiest turns of the season.

    What an awesome day.

We all would and that’s why we’re junkies… and poor. Or maybe just me.

I got some free freshies near home today that made me smile. Now off to go diving.

The boot pack in many spots was waist deep. We couldn't make it to the top.

Crazy how much that zone changed in less than a week.

One of WRG's buddies that was skiing with us only has a blue pass and was paying per ride. After two laps he suggested he might need to take a break or this day was about to get expensive.
