Agree.
If the terrain warrants a beacon (and here Bridger is telling people it does), you take the gear. Shovel (you have a metal one, right?) and probe are not for you — it's a respect thing for the people you are with. Even if you are alone, you never know when you might come upon someone in need. How would it feel to arrive on scene with zero ability to help?
Extra food and layers are often for the OTHER person, too. Many folks think in terms of "I won't need that."
66 deg near Hardin. Um ok.

Quick shout out to our own Hobie Tony.
I hired a contractor to replace the microwave above our stove with a hood vent. Dude started off ok but ended up being a total flake. I had to tell him to come get his tools Friday.
I was in a pinch so Tony came over Saturday to help me finish it up.
Before
Here's pretty much where the first guy left us.
After.
This would've been a hard project for me to finish on my own. Tony's a pro and we're really stoked on how it turned out. Thanks again for the help.
That looks great!
Feels like one of those years where at the end, April, it'll be huge. After everyone is over it ..
Cooler was full of cold ones today. I hadn't been down the big in a few seasons, so I was stoked to get in there (twice) this morning and chase my buddy Robbie down. Then, I spent the afternoon doing buff stuff on the dark side. Great day!

Bridger went from some of the worst conditions today to pretty stinking fun by the end of the day. Could be fantastic tomorrow.

anyone familiar with the dude at bridger who laps pk and screams his fkn head off the whole time?
swing your fucking sword.
Not sure weather to go north or south today. I honestly should be working......but it actually snowed.
I think it's going to be a zoo, but I'm firing up the blower and giving it a go.
Heading south. Roads are pure ice. I think BB will be nuts. Everyone will skip work today.
