Neat Wyoming find..
Hope you all got some today. Surprise foot of new fresh powder day- probably my only day of the year at TV and it was today! Am teaching a Pro 2 and we got worker tram and to follow patrol around, watch them make avalanches then ski powder, all with a fabulous sound track from Mike Rheam who is snow safety OG. I thought about asking a few of you for change for a nickel, but was pretty captivated by the views and the white stuff flying in my face. Go winter!
The "Ghee delivered this AM. Bring your A+ game for the weekend storm. Gonna git crazy.
Post work afternoon 'ghee laps were $. I've aready blowed off work tomorrow. Finally looking and feeling like a normalish winter....
Yo, GravityDT - are you singlecross' 'ghee bro?

Saw the jhole and ghee snow cam very early and was surprised of the under forecast.
1st runs at the rock was 1/2 in on top of wall to wall groomer best groomer of the year!!!
Rain and snow in Pocatello 4500 ft now. The rock is well above.
This year has been better than most would guess.
DJ I will make jhole some time I promise.
Last day for golden ticket was today.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I'll stop here
Well that's cool. Alright .

I got up and saw the 16" before the report came out and had to decide what to do. Harry cut me loose and I was out by 0648. In line by 715 with Don the Freak.
Saw/spoke with skiinggirl but I had my hippie speedball blinders on so my focus was laserlike.
Met Koko's nephew on the box but he had enough sense to not take my offer to lead him into lower RS first.
Sunny and windblown to start, Rbowl was less good than I expected. Maybe better in the gut but I went 85% out and down.
An almost untouched line of boottop with bumptops still lurking. I ricocheted off a few of them between kneedeep troughs.
Into RS and found overall depth around shin deep with hip deep sluff catchalls and a superb pitch that I usually pass by for the trees.
It was deeper and softer than the lines beside it, almost an upslope deposition.
Rolled right and in and embraced about 30 smooth blower light turns to the bottom. Telling myself that this was the best set of pow turns I've had all winter.
Oh, and breath opposite of the splash.
Huffing my way through ninja point, I hit all of my favorite turns and kept eating powpow
for a few miles.
Miles. Untracked.
Didn't see a person the whole time, top to bottom altho I heard some hooting as I submerged on the deep pitch.
Smooth and steady back to the UP chair and spent the rest of the am with Harry and Mr. Mike lapping around casper treezones, avalanche, shot 105, radioactive woods. Lots of soft snow on carvy underfoots.
Great day today.
