Marshall; how far in from the tip does the splay start on the r110 and r120? And what’s the tail height on the r120?

Somebody have a close up of the camber profile on the back half of the r110?
not a close up as such, but you might be able to get the jist by comparing them to your FR110s. Have you gotten on them yet btw? I am looking forward to getting your take on them.

My 110 is actually the R in FR clothing! I appreciate all the takes on the FR since the 120ST will be very similar!

    There it was.
I knew I had seen a pic somewhere. Seems fairly deep for a 1cm height, which is nice. Reminds me of both Bodes and m102s - which is super interesting.

I don’t see it on the site. What are the mount points of the swallow tail 120 in the R and FR (187)?

R105 vs R110 info please. Directional skier looking for something between my 189 bonafide 97 and 193 super goats for mixed conditions. Bones are great on firm but really locked in when it’s soft and the goats are awesome in the soft but not much fun in the firm. 6’3” 210 and ski alpental, would get the 19x in either.
The 110s are a pretty forward mount for me even at -8 but seem like a solid option for tight and variable. The 105s seem like they might be a handful at -12 in the trees but then again I think my bones are fine in bumps.

R105s, no question. Yeah, you get a decent length tip, but if you're happy on bones in trees, you'll be fine on the R105s as well. The 110s may be too forward.

I did that initially, see thoughts in the fl105 thread. I think, if you like driving your skis in a forward stance, you should be at -12.5 or -12. If you're more neutrally inclined, -11 to -10.5 might work for you.

I skied my goliaths today in very mixed snow expecting lots of hidden rocks(only found a few). They float better than the bones but could be a bit damper and looser in the tail. The r105s should float better and be looser but do they want to go Mach chicken at all times? I like to drive my skis most of the time but don’t want something that bites me too hard if I stand up in a tight spot.

Goliaths were my go to boards for awhile, good ski.
    R105 much more stable IIRC.
R105 feels like it wants to go Mach chicken all of the time, but will chill if you want it to (and stay on top of it).

I like how 2FUNKY describes them as non fatiguing if you keep driving them.
I passed soon many people on this last trip that was in mixed crud, variable visibility conditions, just staying in the fall line with the suspension sucking it up.

I ski them with my occasionally very careful kids when I have to, and yeah, they are tuned for going very fast, but you can just skid around on them, too. [emoji846]

Interested to see what you two are cooking up. Now I want to make a ski with Marshall [emoji28] Then again, I think he already has skis to address what I want.

You might be getting a text from me to get on those. My wildcats aren't cutting it as a pow ski in the quiver.

I'm rolling in Saturday night. I'll send you a text. Looks like next week will be a great time to have them out there. Alpental mags will be getting their chance in 2 weeks.

You'd be very happy on these. Coming from Wildcats to the FR120s as a pow ski is going to make you feel like you need a pair.
