Recommended consignment or used gear shops in the Salem area?

Not much in Salem. I've had a little luck at Engelburg Antiks, but not much.

Play it Again Sports in Corvalis or Next Adventure Sandy might be your best bets.

If you are going to Corvallis then Peak Sports also has a consignment/used shop. They briefly had one here in Springfield but they closed presumably due to poor sales. We also have a Play it Again in South Eugene (I once found some minty 4FRNT 179 Ravens there!) but we are a long ways from Salem. That said, for new gear, tuning, and bootfitting Berg’s in Eugene is both solid and a fixture in PNW snow sports gear history.

Nice weekend recap Allmtn! Good to see the stoke survive the soak.

Salem is dead for all things skiing. Peak in Corvallis is usually pretty light. Peak is better for clothing I would say than gear. I have moved some kid stuff there. Better off holding (if selling) until the Corvallis Ski Swap, or making the drive to Portland or Hillcrest in Gresham or Berg’s in Eugene if buying.

I remember using that pool when I was a kid. My hair would freeze if I put my head above the surface

That’s almost 33% of a full operating day. Pretty solid batting average.

Bachelor is where your day ticket is also a lottery ticket. You may be the lucky recipient of a lifetime ski pass when you either get stuck on the chair or the chair falls off.

They gave out free day passes recently for having to hike out out of CCX.

Nw_Skier - Were you here when a chair fell off the rope at Sunrise?

Heard from Red chair yesterday afternoon when it stopped, "hey, there's still some people on the lift!"

If I actually skied bachelor instead of drink at the bar l'd be pissed at the lackluster half-assed poor performance model p0wdr projects.
On a happy Spring ski day in Feb I got in a few turns from the bar to the car.

Today did not suck at MHM. Firm up high. Primo groomers and soft snow elsewhere.
