Day 2 of Vt pow trip produced again. Phone doesn’t come out much especially on the steeper sections so not the most exciting pictures. We explored a new zone to us yesterday. Many thanks to those who have put their time in. Drive home took longer with the icy roads last night

If I guess correctly will you confirm?? I've skied a lot of the backcountry around Jay but these pics don't ring any bells; I have a few guesses... but actually then again I surely dont wanna blow up anyones spot... especially if it's the same guy who cut Jailhouse...

It has been blown up for the last three years thanks to him. They had to install signage to prevent people from parking roadside. He made it a circus. Now he is losing his mind and thinks the land is his for some reason. It would be funny, but he is altered enough and confronted locals aggressively, damaged vehicles, etc

Guy is a super douche

VLT is in the process of selling it, so miles of blue lines will be zig zagging through it eventually

Scoped a newish bc zone with therudeness yesterday. Headed north and east a bit to evade the mixed precip.

Looks great. McLoon on a Saturday, to test out new boots. Boots sucked, but condts were much better than expected.

Boots lasted 4 runs until right foot lost feeling while left was too loose.

saw first responders drive by 330-4 headed that way. Been very tight lipped though.

So....here's what I know (from a first-hand observer):
Non-mag friend was on an organized snowshoe hike of about 1 mile each way. Departed from the Magic Lodge.
Less than 1/2 mile into the snowshoe hike, 60-yo male stopped abruptly and then collapsed.
Fellow participants attempted to render aid and called the ski patrol as well as 9-1-1
MM Ski Patrol responded as did Londonderry Rescue.
Subject was non-responsive and was deceased before they could transport him to the hospital.
Had a beer with him on Friday and we were planning a midweek trip to S-6.
Definitely a pillar of the Magic community.
No other info....
Fuck.
