Our old dog would benefit from a puffy. I need one for a small dog. He went his whole life not wearing clothes or boots. I'm guessing boots are probably not worth trying at his age. Old dog, new tricks. We're just trying to give him whatever short walk he can handle and he loves to walk to the corner where the trails start. He wants to do the trail, but can't. There's a 20' loop that ducks into the woods that makes him happy and he doesn't feel like he turned back. He HATES turning around. The issue is the winter slop from the road salt which splashes on the sidewalk. Hence wishing I could have him wear galoshes. He loves his stretch of sidewalk to the corner.

Nice! Say hey to P and Sheldon for me!

It’s duck season. Charlie’s under my desk, he doesn’t like duck season.

Génépi's been with us for 3 weeks now and is settling in pretty well:

Ms Boissal got her DNA tested, she's 70% lab with some border collie and mastiff throw in. Herding instincts are there, the underbite is there, not sure where the random wiry tufts of hair are coming from though. Training is going really well, she has impeccable recall already and is completely manageable off leash. Great in the snow around skis, although she gets worked and tends to need a ride down:

And after a short but brutal 3-week conflict, we've officially lost the no-dog-on-the-couch war...

I too have lost this battle with every couch and every dog with my wife and daughter. I now no longer even try. Dogs are people too. Cute puppy, enjoy!

Sorry about that, I thought the video would show up. It is worth a click though.

Have no fear, it is all about the doggie snow stoke. No poop is visible.

We took delivery of a dog for my cousin in Bolivia. She will be up to grab him next week. It's been fun to have this guy around for a few weeks...
