Well if that Jeff fills the gap I’ll happily take those GT’s off your hands!
I curious about your thoughts on the 186. I wonder if it has the same characteristics of the 191

I’ll give you few months before I message you and ask you how you like the three.
My jeff118 has given my nanner 193 a nice spot collecting dust on the rack in the garage so there’s that.

For all you 2012/13 Billy Goat Bear Claw die hards, I just put a pair in GS. 186cm, one mount, quite pristine, in tour build. About 2160g/ski. I wanted to keep these so bad but just don't have much application for a 50/50 ski where I live/ski.
edit: or if anyone wants to trade em for your stock layup bear claws...?

Greetings...been a long time lurking again vs posting, but wanted to give a heads up I just listed some minty Woodsman 110 187cm in gear swap. Going back to Wren Ti's this year so want to sell these to a deserving person

You should have been here yesterday!
I’ve seen a good amount of Woodsman 110s pop up for sale lately. And they are all mint. 2 locally, I’m talking to one person about a pair. In the past 6 months I’ve seen a bunch.
Are people not loving this ski?
I honestly think it depends what you are expecting from it. It is more stable than Jeffrey, not as full charge as a Wren. There is a ton of energy in the ski and it rebounds amazingly for a poppy feel for me...I just prefer the dead, stick me to the ground vibe because I am old, haha. If I want to get that lively, poppy feel I just grab my Jeffery 108.
I had a pair to help with testing and to really dial in the model, but I just love my Wren 108 Ti so much that it doesn't make sense for me to have both.

I'm wondering about this too. I have a pair of the 108s and I LOVE them. But everyone says the 110s fixed the "problems" of the 108s, of which I have found none. So I'm wondering if there really was a design issue with the 110s, or if it's just a fix that makes it better for many people, and I just happen to jive perfectly with the 108s. And why are people ditching the 110s?
I've never been on the 110s, to be fair.

I had lengthy discussions offline with kid-kapow about the gen1 WD108 vs WD110.
“Problems” with the OG 108 seem to be about accessibility - less accessible of a ski if you end up in the backseat and/or aren’t used to strong tailed skis. That was a “problem” for me because I didn’t grow up skiing, only weigh 140 lbs, and felt like I had to ski the 108 in charge mode all the time and not make mistakes. Also with that strong tail it made me feel like the line would have been better a little bit back. Everyone always said the OG Woods were more Wren than Jeff.
Lo and behold, the 110 had a softer rounder tail, and they moved the line back. They also made in front of the binding a little stiffer, and the core is different too between 110 and 108, I think the 110 core has more carbon and is lighter weight, so more rebound energy but also maybe less full crush capability. Slightly longer effective edge too going from the OG108 to the 110.
At kid-kapow’s recommendation I upsized from 177cm gen1 108 to 182cm 110 - even knowing that I had issues feeling like the 177 tail was too much, the idea was that the 110 tail was soooo much more round in flex than the 108 that I would do okay with the extra length to gain back stability. At the end of last season I got two runs on the 110 and it felt like the right balance of length and core for me, but the edges were fucked - I bought them used and the edges had been reset but not yet deburred or detuned - and didn’t get any more days on them after running a Wintersteiger Jupiter tune. So the jury is still out for me but I think the 110 will be a fine daily ski for me for this year.
I’m curious if anyone has outlined the changes from the 110 to the gen3 108, I wonder if they tried to find the Goldilocks setup between the OG 108 and 110 …

I also had a Woodsman 110 and sold them to a friend who skis faster than I do. Before those, a 2020 Woodsman 108, and also have a 2021 Woodsman 102… which I bought because I found the original 108 to be as described below…a bit chargey…more so than I. I’ve really gelled with the 102. I’m older… 195#… all are/were 182’s.
I don’t ski super fast and the 110 felt a bit stiffer than I needed. I’m in interior BC so these don’t see much maritime snow.
For this year, had a couple long chats with Iggy and chose a custom in the new 181 Woodsman 108, soft core. He said the mount moved back a few more mm, and the radius is reduced so they’ll come around a bit easier. I went soft due to our typically light snow and the mellower speeds I ski at.
A 2021 108 would also likely work for my scenario as it was made a touch softer in the tails than the OG.
Ok that’s super helpful. Thanks. I have Jeff 108s that I really like, and find them very surfy and playful. Highly capable ski. But the carve point on them is fickle, and if I’m not skiing playfully they obviously aren’t the right tool.
So I added the Woods 108s as a way to get a chargy-er but still playful ski that I could whip around and pop with. And it’s been exactly that. It’s still upright and centered but I can hit higher speeds and crank edges more simply, and the backbone can be used for hard arcs. I’m 185 and I enjoy the stiffer spine standing up for me. (I’m on 187s).
Is it feels like moving to softer 110s or the new 108s would be going in the wrong direction. Too close to the Jeffs.
I think I’ll stay with what I have. After all, if ya love a ski you should probably just ride with it.
You did not say what year 108 you have… But in general terms, the Woodsman has evolved from the 2020 OG towards Wrenegade… slightly more rearward mount point & stiffness moved forward, so further away from Jeffrey, not closer.
I felt similarly with the 2nd revision WD108. Just felt like an absolute plank and I didn't really have fun with it when it was so contradictory to my skiing style preferences. Skied well enough but no magic or "aha" click. Tried to force it to work but eventually went back to J110 last year and basically never gave the WD a second thought after that. Curious how the repeated revisions since then have updated it but dont really find myself particularly excited for it. J110 just works for me too well. Shame because I thought the rev2 woodsman mountain graphics were so clean.
Should be a nice 1-2 from the folks at 0n3p.
Thanks to the guys on here for furthering my addiction...

anyone spent any time on the wren 102Ti, 108Ti or 110 Pro and can speak to their performance?
my daily driver kastle bmx105Ti is getting a little long in the tooth and looking for a replacement.
i really liked the chargey damp nature of the ski while it still retained some pop and playfulness. i'm definitely a directional fall-line type of skier.
Anyone here a huge fan of the BG tour 110? I skinned some laps the other day and there just isn’t anything quite like the RES tip for soft snow. I think I missed out not buying a set of bgt 110s in a 182 when they were on super sale this summer.
Anyone have an updated take on how those ski?
I feel like I could sell 3 touring rigs and consolidate to that plus a volcano ride
