Looking great out there, wish I could partake. I love frosty mountaintops and distant couloirs....

Lurker Jerry sent us a pic of him enjoying some fresh yesterday...

Kinda stoked to get my legs back under me this season, turns out I’ll be a freeride team coach this year! On the fence a bit about working for the mtn again but it’s a pretty sweet gig ripping around with the little shredders and skipping the lines. Most of the skiers are friends’ kids anyways so it should be a hoot

    glad to hear that dw!
sounds like a much more ski-centric role, the kids will gain from your skillz...and they'll keep your skis running.
hope to run into you at magic soon

    ^^^et tu VT??
    sorry you're sitting out too.
i'm gonna begin my local night skiing before the deluge.

^^ Now we know the season has really begun.

Stratton was great this morning until about 10am when all the late arrivers Thursday night rolled outta bed. We had the place to ourselves until we didn't. So we left. 16K vert in 2 hours ain't bad and they had done a nice job with grooming out all the snow they blasted the past few days. Still skiing all natural under the Snow Bowl lift. It's getting tired but ample proof that natural snow is soooooo superior to manmade.

Stopped in to see buttah but he was out skiin'.

Soon enough I hope… focused on getting the truck and camper ready for westward expansion later this winter. Gonna be a long Winter and I’d rather start slow and finish strong.

Glad to see folks getting after it in December however.

Fail, posting snow tire pics as Ullr does not appreciate. Killington was great today. Caught a rope drop on Cascade and it was mint. Great start to the sesson

Early lift issues at Bolton were quickly forgotten on the natural snow trails full of big bumps. 🤞🏼on a net positive tomorrow night.
