Me too. Jeeps are fun, but for where I go on dirt, they're more capable than needed and smaller than I'd like. Forest service and BLM use fullsize pickups, so roads are that width - - so long as you don't mind desert pinstriping.

EarthRoamers are built close to me so I see them on road often. I can’t imagine trying to take one on a typical forest service road, it would not be a good time.

Most of those big German rigs are built for retired industrialists with the intention of finding their "inner Rommel" in the sands of Morocco and Tunisia.
Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.

I think this would make an excellent anti-gotos in the right hooligan hands.

Mark VII ready to slay. love it.

Fact of the day: Lincoln sold the 84-85 Mark VII with an available BMW diesel.

Perfect for the quick trip to whole foods when you don't need a lot of cargo space.

I saw a non-modified Lincoln or something like it absolutely rallying around one of the local ORV staging areas a while back. They gunned it up this pretty steep hill and failed halfway up, then had to reverse. This resulted in them getting off the route into a gully, which they heroically made it through thanks to a judicious use of throttle and no regard for the preservation of their vehicle.

Spotted this beauty today on my back from lunch.
Bilateral sauce packets, digging tools, an interesting variation on the snorkel, RTT, extra roof rack, serious lift, some insane rack of LEDs in the front.
Everything required to feel safe in the wild environment of UT parking lots...

He got stuck in line at the next roundabout, thought he was going to go over the curb but that would have been too sketch...

My wife saw the guy driving around town at 8am and again after lunch. What a way to style out the $250k Porsche

In Spokane there's a dude with a red porsche and a beautiful wood strip kayak (canoe?) with a very similar vibe. No pics unfortunately

Copious body decals and the four (!) sets of accessory lights - all on a Fiat. What’s not to love?
