Oh snap! I'll get on the house cleaning.

Glad they made it and that kitteh is feeling better.

I love all animals, but always thought dogs were #1. Now that we have 3 kitties making me laugh daily, I am not so sure.
In the dogs defense they are old and sleep more than the cats do now.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

GG in lockup for the drive back to Wisconsin.

She is a good traveler, and I let her loose on the open road. But I have a manual transmission and one time she got under my foot pedals in traffic, so for big cities like Atlanta and Nashville I put her in lockup. She does not mind, she feels safe in there.

    Shouldn't she be named Tonto?

Our two baby cats HATE being put in a carrier. Skye ignored us for 2 weeks after the last vet visit. We have one like Harry's and a soft one and neither is acceptable. Any ideas what to get?

Coco (aka sugar-bear, the poojer, softie) passed on to the other side today. He used up his 9 lives with years of different medical issues but he always somehow rallied - but this time it was not to be. He was a beach cat and a snow cat at different times so he lived a lifestyle maggots would approve of. His hobbies included sleeping 22 hours a day and being the kindest gentlest cat I ever knew. Our house will be unbearably empty without him here to welcome us home. I am a wreck right now.

Donations in memoriam should be made by scratching the chin of whatever cat graces your own home.

I got something in my eye. Will scratch mayhem on the chin, her favorite, and pour out some nip for your homey.

Aw, bennymac, I’m sorry to hear about Coco, really sorry.

On a somewhat brighter note: KQ, I’m on the road, but the housesitter told me there’s a package from a KQ at home. Thank you so much. I’ll send a donation to the SF shelter in the name of Emma Peel..

Condolences bennymac, hard to believe we get so attached to these wads of fur.

While one of our cats seems impervious to catnip, the other, Sly, alias Little, would like to extend a claw felt thanks to KQ for her awesome catnip fuzzies.
