32 vehicles found in Florida lake by divers working missing person cold cases
"An effort that started with a private search company working missing persons' cold cases led a team of divers to find nearly three dozen cars under water in a South Florida lake, police confirmed.

Investigators Doug Bishop and Ken Fleming told local 7News on Sunday they found 32 cars while diving in a murky lake in Doral, Florida just west of Miami International Airport."

There's drugs just floating around everywhere. Even Tampa's mayor found a million in coke bobbing around:

    https://www.al.com/news/2023/08/tamp...hing-trip.html

The weekend before, a boater found a three-pound bale of marijuana off Islamorada in the Upper Keys.

Earlier that month, boaters discovered 87 pounds of hashish offshore of Marathon, a city nestled in the middle of the Keys, population about 10,000. The same day, another spotted 62 pounds of cocaine, the bricks packaged with pictures of the Eiffel Tower, according to the Border Patrol.

And the day before, someone found an eight-pound bale of marijuana floating about 13 miles northwest of Big Pine Key in the Lower Keys, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. A week after Castor’s discovery, someone else found a brick of cocaine weighing 2.7 pound.

The mayor’s family spent the rest of their vacation diving and fishing, catching no more drugs but about 60 lobsters.

It would be a lot better story if bodies were found in some of the cars.

Never been to Florida and likely will never go. Miami looks sweet

But have you seen what they call a lake in Florida ? Fucking nuts. The city of Doral looks to be surrounded by square lakes. Maybe they’re rice paddy’s

^^ That's what happens when you fill in a swamp and build on it. Poor man's Dubai.

I did some MTB riding in central Florida a few years ago. Got taken out by an armadillo on a ride. They are like rabbits here, they run out in front of you as you're riding the trail. Friend here pointed out the leprosy connection and that I should wash hands if I touched my wheel afterwards. Fortunately no appendages have fallen off since.

Armadillos run? I had no idea. I've never seen one.

Armadillos also jump straight up in the air when startled.. Imagine riding a motorcycle down the highway at 70 and having one run out in front of you. Hitting them on the road takes out your front wheel.. But if it jumps you get it in the face..

Makes you wonder how many people have reeled in a few keys and happily kept that information to themselves.

You don't really want the cartel to find out you're selling their product.

Catching a few lobsters and finding a bale of weed is a good day out in the ocean in my book.

How you gonna go through a couple ten keys of coke without anyone knowing about it? Seriously. Even if you're freebasing an ounce or four a night by yourself, good luck getting through it alive.

And a bale of brick weed? Not even worth grabbing these days. Even in my "warehouse days" it was never full of brick weed.

If you can't consume it yourself, what do you do? Like I said, selling is not a good option. Not sure I want to even be involved enough to collect a finders fee. And not worth the risk and hassle throwing out what you don't need. If you party up with people, somebody's gonna notice.

Personally, id ball it all up and only have 1 at a time out and ready to go. Maybe 2 or three for the big days/nights. As long as it was in typical serving sizes, no one would think you had anything more than that on-hand. the problem is you would have to enjoy it locally as plane travel would be out and youd probably get bored of stuff within easy driving range pretty quickly.

With that much blow “easy driving range” can be thousands of miles.
