take 1000 billionaires - at least one of them likely will have the right/wrong personality characteristics to be a cult leader ie convince otherwise intelligent people to do stupid shit

kinda like how 2000 years ago there woulda been thousands of people with psychosis and, every once in awhile, one of them would have the right combination of personality characteristics lined up that would convince others that their visions and delusions were proof they were divine - but that’s for another thread

Soviet Foxtrot class sub? Damn. I wonder if it can be made diveworthy again. And where do I find a crew? What's the operational costs on that fucker? I could rule Lake Superior with that. Powerball is approaching $500 mil again, almost time for the TRG pool to fire back up. Forget an Audi, let's get a patrol submarine!

How about one trebuchet on the island, one on the mainland, and a supply of inflatable zorb ball things on each side?

I don't know, but an evil lair has to have a grotto, I think.

No, that is my summary of many of the bastards profiles on the show. They mentioned the word cult once, off hand.
    No longer stuck.

Hollywood actors doing their own stunts, does that count for "stupid billionaire tricks?"

Good for him, I'm impressed. He was never that close to rocks despite the hype of the video (not counting the opening ground skimming probably done by Jon Devore) and he did some impressive intermediate moves. Good for him taking the time to learn the sport and not breaking a leg. Just waiting for the right wind to learn paragliding then speed flying is big commitment in time, and you also can't learn quickly on any old mountain nearby you are better off going somewhere very specific to learn.

I find it nearly impossible to believe that any studio movie insurance would allow that by him. They can be pretty picky when it comes to insurance so how this came off when they forbid a lot less is beyond me
