In 1976 Ron Burgundy, Cheryl Tiegs and Evel Kneival came within four votes of making this song the USA’s new National Anthem

If you’re of a certain age, you might have danced to this like a mad person, maybe on a warm summer night.

Man that song pumped me up in the day. Now it's in a commercial for some bullshit. Fack.

The Blue Aeroplanes were pretty unique. Basically a beat poet (Gerard Langley) reciting his poetry over rock music. I know it sounds a bit pompous, but it worked.

Yeah, that song's gotta be one of the catchiests songs of all-time and Gregg Alexander and Danielle Brisbois dissolved the band like a year later. I know he's done quite a bit of songwriting and production since, though.

Here’s Saul Williams reciting his poetry over Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe

    ^^^Interesting
Listened to those lyrics thinking “WTF, Canned Heat’s lyrics are totally different”

Then I find that Mr Thomas originally titled his song “Bull Doze Blues”

This is a great new song by The Church. About 45 years in and they can still produce some incredible music.
