Or maybe somebody drunkenly clicked the Buy Now button in Ebay before reading the entire description. Wait till they try to get it in the basement.

That MARTA car is the new house addition they didn’t know they needed.

There's a company in Hornell, NY that makes those cars. But it's on the other side of the state closer to Cleveland from that picture as far as I can tell.

I just had to look that place up. Right off I-86, er, Future-86, er, 17, I mean, Southern Tier Expressway.

I get that train cars manufacturers aren't like shitty craft breweries with one on every town corner, but that seems like a hell of a long way to go to get a MARTA car, which isn't exactly the world's most complex light rail train.

I think the city buys their subway cars from Bombardier in Canada. That kind of pisses me off now that I see there’s a company that could be building em here. Mother fucker

edit: my hot take was wrong. Bombardier has a plant in my birthplace- Plattsbutgh, NY. Some other subway cars are apparently made by Kawasaki but they have also opened an assembly plant in NYS

yea man, Bombardier was in early on the BRAC decommissioning of Plattsburgh afb. We had the redevelopment project with PARC - Plattsburgh Airbase Redevelopment Corporation back in '97 when I worked for URS Corp. I think they took the hangar AND the machine shop. What a place! Two mile runway! I missed the clifford ball though...

I'd be all over an old 'bird, in fact a 70-73 is on my radar for the future. I've always had a soft spot for them so wouldn't turn down a newer model if the stars aligned. All told today was pretty successful, I started with a $38 oz of really good weed from a shop in Salamanca Click image for larger version.

Then I did that Lake Chataqua bridge again because it didn't look as intimidating in today's great weather as last time, I was right, it's nothing but damn that thing in bad weather... Then I went through some of the most Upstatish places I've ever been between Jamestown and E Aurora, look up Mansfield and East Otto, fukn yuck. Then I saw this and thought it belonged here Click image for larger version.

    Fucking $38 an ounce! Hahahaha

I found another place on a reservation I didn't know existed with about 2 dozen weed shops in about a mile of road in the middle of nowhere. Driving along in the woods and farms then POP weed stores all over and then it just fizzles back into farms. Fukn weird.

What, you prefer western sunshine to upstate greybird rain? There's nice green grass here, though.

Damn, GL, fucking crushed it yesterday!

And yeah, that Chautauqua bridge is a whole big pile of nope unless the weather is good.
