That motherfucker killed his family.... in the middle of the afternoon. I can't imagine the terror those children felt hearing their siblings murdered in the next room.

Everyone in that community has claimed to know the family intimately and yet no one spoke up or tried to prevent the abuse. You don't wake up one morning and murder your whole family. Never mind, I just read their earthly children don't follow them to the afterlife directly. They can give birth to unlimited spirit children in afterlife, if married in a temple though. Hard to figure out what's what sometimes and I probably have this wrong too.
