I should have reported last week that the Stewart’s on Rt 28 in the Catskills no longer has a pay phone. I apologize for the oversight.

    I though the rule was
"When a beer is opened, it is brought to the lips immediately for enjoyment, and kept there until empty"

Right. They'd sure come in handy when traveling. Especially in cars where the cup holder is over the phone holder or close enough for stuff to splash into the air vents.

That is an abomination. Lift beers should be consumed before reaching the top shack. Plan ahead

The Upstates’ Skiers Code is clear:

    1. Yield to those riders downhill of you.

    2. Plan ahead so stunt beers are finished and deposited in the can below the offloading ramp [take extra care if your name is Benny].

    3. Always be beeping, and dig a pit.

    4. Get the red ones.

    You forgot several:

    - Don't drop the beer ball at the top of the hill.

    - Max number of allowed fully sober runs = 3. None are allowed after noon.

    - It's not ice unless you can see through it to grass, so don't call it ice.

    - If you have spent more than 30 minutes teasing your hair to be taller you do not need to wear a helmet or a hat.

    - Do not take pocket meats from the breakfast buffet.

Also your rule #1 is wrong based on what I've seen. It should read "Yield to those skiing faster than you."

Your 4th rule. In 1990 Mt. Brighton, MI (yes, the same as Dex and T.J.), we called the girls, and guys, that did that wallbangers. Face to the wall, they’d hold the hair straight up and spray that shit like it had fleas.

also I have a pressing question:

what kind of technology is in a cruiser that lets a trooper pick out the one car in a pack of cars with an overdo inspection?? I mean a bunch of cars doing 80 down the northway.

is it the sticker color, or are they scanning every license plate nowadays?!
