Is there a TGR outpost in the Upstates yet?

Maybe ping the guys down at the Breck store about expansion ideas?

    Imagine the branded robe sales.

Cazenovia rocks ! (except if you are employed by Caz College)
I've spent most of my life skiing and fly fishing. The rest I have just wasted.

Yeah, we deal with every day Try selling a property when the owner isn't able to sign off on it and that's minor compared to seeing and trying to communicate with him.

I have been there. Fortunately, we, through sheer dumb luck, were able to get the whole raft of different POAs while my dad was still lucid enough. He wasn't capable of knowing when we eventually sold his place to pay for his care.

Is that three houses stuck together or four? PASS

although I will say Caz has the best town park by the lake. Five stars on the pastoral meter.

That place is fantastic. Tarping will be more difficult, but it's still fantastic.

There's some charm to that place.

Love how the shaker shingle shows the snow-line 3 feet up on the back patio.

Lotta drama in Caz. Knoxies is kinda fun. Probably get some fuuny looks first time there, but they’ll get used to you. Funny the article about Mattydale doesn’t mention that its at the end of the runway at Hancock airport

Wow, they named Watervliet outside of Albany #8. Home to the Watervliet Armory, a cheap Uber from Albany bars and likely cheap property. Cannot really think of too many other (or even another) reasons for a first time buyer to buy there.

I was about to say Watervliet is a shithole because of that rusting former steel plant or whatever the fuck it is back by the train tracks at the base of the hill but upon reflection that might be in Latham. The arsenal is probably a future super fund site too. So not much to recommend the place in my opinion. And yet residents still somehow look down on their neighbors from Green Island.

I looked that hole up. What’s up with the British pub in the middle of the road there?

Did it finally fall into the river and float into the big hole?

I can't figure that place out. On a Friday night it's packed. The food is unremarkable. They have a decent beer selection, but if you're heading to S. or Central VT, you still have 1 -2.5 hr drive ahead of you and a Bennington and VT state police gauntlet to run.

This is like any Upstates pub I've passed over the years. Sure it looks like a great spot to enjoy a beer or five, but there's clearly not enough local population to keep this place open, and any drive from here to civilization involves crossing at least some portion of a Rez and/or dodging the 12 state troopers you saw on the way in.

So much upstate in this article:

    https://www.news10.com/top-stories/i...re-in-hoosick/

“We’ve had modular homes and mobile homes coming through here that these streets weren’t intended for. That creates a bit of a nightmare for some of the people who are trying to commute normally in the village,” Cipperley said.
But with the uptick in traffic has come an increase in enforcement. The Hoosick Falls Police Department has issued nearly 100 tickets in the several days since the emergency repairs began.
“To put it in perspective, that’s probably about three times our monthly average of tickets. Right off the bat we had a lot of residents speaking up saying, boy there’s a lot of traffic and there’s a lot of people flying through,” the mayor explained.
