This song came up on a TV show I watched tonight and I realized I probably hadn't heard it in at least a decade. Madchester!

Another one from those kooks: an example of tune construction.

Amazing sound. Hadn’t heard them before. Skerik and Steve Berlin make quite the woodwind section

Yeah, Tuatara is dense in my playlists. Unique approach.

bitd in the Seattle proto grunDge scene, there was a band called Face Ditch with a mad sax player named Craig Flory. I always thought Skerik borrowed a lot from Craig who is now doing old timey clarinet stuff.

lousy audio, but Craig is in there:

One of the greats long dead before his time.
Larry Coryell and Mahavishnu/John McGlaughlin lead me into Billy Cobham and that was my intro to Bolin.

In fact, here's Craig playing flute in one instantiation of Tuatara

Fuck, just found out singer(when no guest singer)/guitarist Dallas Good of The Sadies died last February!

If you don't know The Sadies, they wrote and recorded this badass song w/ Neko Case

and this equally badass dirty w/ Kurt Vile

    Fuck...

Buster took me down the Tuatara rathole, which led me to numbers including Chris Littlefield, which made me say “wait a minute, he played with KDTU”
