    Annoying as hell.

I’m one of the only people on my street that doesn’t keep outside lights on overnight.

America has become scared of the dark.

Light pollution sucks and nobody seems to care.

Can I rant about 5,000 kelvin light bulbs here?

But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers

My neighbor has suddenly decided 1030 pm is a great time for basketball. Glad I have good insulation.

God I hope we have a really cold, snowy, shitty winter that doesn't end until late May to scare off the riff raff.
Check if your building code has a rule against light trespass and if code compliance will enforce it.

People who know about this stuff say that outside lights make it easier for the thieves to steal stuff. You can't steal it if you can't see it. OTOH the motion sensor lights sometimes chase the bears off but usually I have to get out of bed and do it myself.

Not sure what’s going on around here lately but everyone is just giving up. Here’s 4 doors down and it’s been this way for 14 days now. Click image for larger version.

Heh. Show us a pic of your yard. I’m envisioning broken washing machines, old refrigerators, bicycles, snow machines, unused building materials, random discarded stuff, ragged blue tarps over everything,

Knocked the dust off the drums and cranked up the amps today. Hope the neighbors like the new weekly afternoon Old Man Sunday House jam.

I'd take an afternoon of drums over the constant screeching of kids and beagle barking/howling at our new neighbors house. Can't wait for colder weather so they close the windows!

I have 3 MTBs and a 20" Walmart BMX bike under a tarp up against the fence in the back yard. 2 of the MTBs were nice when I cocooned them there 2 years ago. Before that they were stored at the side of the house (front yard) under one of those cheap ass pop up gazebo things with tarps added as walls..... behind the skateboard mini ramp. My moped's in there now.. No HOA FTW!

I'd rather have the neighbor with a bunch of bike, motorcycles, broken down cars and shit in their front yard than the bitchy know it all neighbors who are concerned with what everybody's yard looks like and complain every time a dog barks (I have some of those).

Only thing I remember complaining about in the past 20 years is the occasional loud party that goes well past midnight... Have to occasionally ask someone to turn down the polka music. Never had anyone get pissy about the polite request. Not may repeat offenses.. Honestly think they didn't realize we can hear it inside our house until I step out in fuzzy slippers and get their attention..
