Lauf Anywhere looks better, but only clears 40cc, but I'd prefer the Anywhere, over the Seigla, not interested in a Lauf fork.
BUT they do look nice, the guys in the shop just assembled one for a customer who ordered it, I think they are DTC only, and no frames only.

The supersix evo se/cx geo and the topstone geo are pretty close to the same. Or were, I didn't look close at the charts for new topstone that ditched the bearings in the pivot and added some tire clearance. Annoying thing about the supersix is they stuck with AI offset on the rear end, which might make it the only bike they make that has that now. I heard cdale cxworld team wanted that for all the wheels they already had and now they don't even exist so great job on that.

The orbeas seem decent. I have the old rim brake cross bike terra and would have considered the new version last year when I was bike shopping but they haven't been able to get us many bikes. Same deal with cdale. Kona managed to make a major jake appear for me. They have a new gravel bike coming out but it doesn't seem all that different from the libre which has kind of strange short and upright geo and I don't know what they're going for with it. And the jake is going away it seems.

Other shop I work for doing events sells opens but I haven't really looked close at them. Seems expensive for the frame.

As a TCX owner j would say they’re definitely too old school euro CX geo. BB I sky high which is sub optimal.

Love, love, love how the Open looks (especially that light blue). But anecdotally, I know two out of two owners who have persistent BB creaking issues. One sold the bike out of frustration.

    YMMV

I’ll put a plug in for a SuperX. Basically a road frame that can accommodate up to 42’s. Does everything except be aero. Yes, needs offset rear which is like 10 mins of your life.

My bad. I thought Lauf was selling frame only.

My dream build starts with: Rodeo Labs Trail Donkey. No particular reason,,,just looks cool and different than what everyone else has.

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

I’ve build a few OPENs and know their intricacies.
My LBS that I do a bit of work with has 2 demos that have been bb quiet since build up, and they don’t get babied either, basically treated like rental bike.

I’m okay building an Ai offset wheel, or a Ai specific Bottom Bracket, but I believe that the SuperX also needs a Ai specific crank. That’s where I draw the line with Ai specificity.

But yes, any “road” frame that handles 40’s is a viable option for me as well.

I borrowed the Chamois and then bought a cutthroat. They are pretty similar and I have really enjoyed the cutty.

Does the Crux clear your drivetrain? Spec says no, but maybe it’s fine?

2.1 wtb velociraptors. Crazy to think those used to be a viable mtb tire.

Forecasted to be warm and dry in NNM this year. Fine by me until the fires start.

The Scott Addict Gravel is a nice bike, but I want a frame up build, Scott does not offer a frame only on the Addict Gravel.

Fezzari Shafer - Not “cool” per se but $1700 for a carbon frame is hard to ignore….
