can you imagine a scenario in Iraq/Afghnaistan where a group of 10 soldiers/marines refused to breach a room against a lone combatant with a gun? In this case the officers wouldnt even do that to save classrooms of school children. I wonder if any of the uvalde officers had any combat experience prior to this? Utter dereliction of duty.

In fairness to the cops who were there it sounds like the delay was mostly on the commander. Although the initial retreat appears on those officers.

They weren't handshakes they were shoves. It's in the video. I'm betting a police officer calls that assault if it happens to them.

I watched the video and my conclusion is that you and i have very different definitions of what a shove is, judging by how easily the 9yrolds walked right through the shoves from a +220lb man. Guy acted like a prick, no doubt, and should be removed from coashing youth sports for a few years. Shitty behavior should be punished especially when its an authority figure kids will learn from.

If a cop claimed assault when that level of force was applied to him/her, i think that would constitute them behaving badly. Lets not get recreationally offended, and save the outrage for when its not forced. Plenty out there to be legitimately outraged about.

It's always that way. I'd say a year is the bare minimum to investigate a cop killing someone. Delay is the main tactic when it's obvious the cop did wrong.

Someone needs to teach those kids to flop. Although to be fair there's usually no reason to flop in baseball. One more reason kids should play more than one sport.
