15-18 year old males are not children.

This is a completely different issue than school shootings or accidental deaths. This issue has to deal with drug and gang activities in mostly urban areas and Black communities.

So we shouldn’t address that issue either?

It's already against the law for anyone 15-18 to own a handgun. Drugs are already illegal.

Not legal/illegal, accessible VS Less or inaccessible. But that is OK, you are not interested in anything except for how it will affect your ability to play with your toys.

Im not sure there is anything that can be done to affect my ability to "play with my toys". So that's a dumb argument. I can go and buy a registered machine gun today and have it in 3-4 months. An assault weapons ban would most likely follow the framework of the machine gun ban in 1986. Grandfathering in the 10 million or so assault weapons that are out there and making them go up in value.

Anyone that is using a gun for anything other than self defense or offense is "playing with a toy". Hunting, target shooting, IDPA, riflery, etc. It's all recreation. Except for maybe hog hunting in order to control population numbers... Which is done with a AR15.
