Well shit, one trip down this memory lane confirms you are correct. Where the hell did the Luminas fit in then?

That's got to be pushing at least 45 feet of wagons there combined.

Interesting, I thought the 2.8 was limited to Z24 trim (aka, the hillbilly hotrod).
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

I don't recall the malibu being overly cumbersome. I know the 8 pack of skaters felt the squeeze when i switched to the celebrity though. both had the rear facing "way back" seat that all the boards got piled on the 2 unlucky occupants.

I gave the guy crap and he says he has a buyer at $12.5K and is: a) discouraging buyers while the dude is out of town; and/or b) (unsaid) fishing at $14.5K in case someone wants to step up.

They didn't. Actually they struck me as a 4 door version of the last Monte Carlo. Both were cars that should only have been used for rentals.

If we’re honest that could be said for a large portion of the GM offerings from those decades.

I find it so frustrating that there are no 3.0 liter TDI wagons in the USA that can tow a 5000 lb trailer. Forcing me to buy a SUV.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

You can get a honkin V8 in one that should pull just fine.

I really love my tdi so much. Just a little over a year into owning her for me. She only had 23k on her when I grabbed her cheap. 2 year bumper to bumper unlimited miles and then a bunch of covered power train shit from the recall. I suspect my kids will be driving it.

I put a lot of miles on my Q5 Tdi lately. I have zero regrets selling the wagon for this "SUV". It hauls ass, tows, 35 mpg, and is basically the same size as my wagon but a few inches higher inside and outside.

I find it frustrating that I don't think any current SUV can be as good as this Q5 Tdi for under $50k [emoji14]

One of the finest wagons I’ve ever owned - put easily 200k + on it and now it must go. To make room for more wagon.

Had a conversation with Cascade Luke awhile back (he has a 2015 Cayenne TDI) and he mentioned if he had it to do again, he would of went with the S version. I made the mistake of test driving one last week. Let me tell you, a 6,000 pound car still moves with 420hp and I could use that for towing. To bad the seller wanted $3k more than I would pay, so someone else bought it.

I think you misunderstood me. I said wouldn’t get the color black if I could do it over again. Love my TDI!!
Though I do lust for the GTS.
