    Ask the experts

BikeYoke Revive is the nicest I’ve owned so far. Time will tell on durability. OneUp is a close second. Not too expensive, not too heavy, big drop, easy to service, and excellent CS. Brand X had been fine. Dirt cheap and reliable, but heavy and mine slowly leaks so I have to top it off every few months. The lever is crap. If I was in the market, I’d get a OneUp, no question.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Price point, weight, drop and durability seem to be one up or pnw and they both have good levers. I really like my friends wolftooth lever. Thing is butter smooth.
Ive ditched carbon bars in favor of 31.8 aluminium but if i was looking at getting another pair id key on the fit. Wider shoulders less sweep and more sweep for narrower shoulders. Raceface have sweep and renthal not so much. Not sure on chromag, i have a fu40 aluminium bar of theirs and it has less sweep but maybe their carbon bar doesnt, idk. Not sure how one up fit but i think their max rise is 35. I like a 40 -50 rise depending on steerer tube and headtube length(long torso)

Running the stock Yeti carbon 780 that came on my new bike. Crazy stiff. I have a bad wrist and need a pretty soft bar, but also don't want to go alloy. My Enve M9 bar on my other bike is sick....came with the bike. I assume it's stupid expensive. Lots of people seem to like the OneUp bars now.
I don’t know if the back sweep works for you, but I love my SQLab 12° carbon bars for bikes that aren’t full enduro/DH sleds. Nice and compliant, and better wrist alignment. YMMV.

I ordered the OneUP 20mm rise ones.

So I tried that little o-ring trick on the XTs (actually seemed to make the pads rub a little bit) and the bike didn't get any quieter. So I poked around and there was something loose INSIDE my handlebar. Weird. Took one of the grips off and it wouldn't come out. Fashioned a little hook out of bailing wire and pulled this weird shit out. WTF? Something from the factory?

Ok, I got one! thanks. I had to manually lower my seat, even with a dropper on my Giant if I was going to hit jumps, looks like that won't happen anymore.

Now on to my other bike's dropper post that also won't stay up! A Race face one. I just have to see where I threw all my tools trying to fix my Giant dropper before I start.

Probably less work than gluing strips if you happen to have the right size rubber seals laying around
If anyone figures out what band/seal that is and if it works let us know.

Re bars: I've ran Race Face SIXC 35 in the past and found them pretty damn stiff. I have Renthal Fatbar 35 carbon on my current bike and they are ok but still pretty stiff. Curious about Chromag BZA, but yeah OneUp seems to be what everyone ends up running.

I'm almost certain it's the o-ring off a Fox 36 stanchion. I tried it last night. I feel like it actually pushed the pads a fraction of a millimeter closer together and caused a tiny bit of rub. Latest model 4 pot XTs with basically brand new pads. Maybe slightly larger/looser hardware store ring would work better.

I posted in this thread a few weeks back looking for a carbon bar. I ended up with the Chromag Cutlas. I am happy so far, it looks super clean and there is a noticeable difference in compliance compared to my PNW bar…

WTF is an OC2 seatpost, I can't really find it on the webz, is that an Orbea brand or what ??
Ok, we have two Orbea Ebikes with their droppers and have nearly 2,000 dirt miles on them. They have worked perfectly over that time, stayed tight and just a non issue so far. We have a collection of bikes all with various droppers and I would say they work on the same level as our Fox Transfer that is on my wife's Mojo. The worse droppers we have is my Reverb on my HighTower, has been sticky since new and by far the worse is my Raceface Affect on my HT for a number of reasons.

Anyway, I don't know the weight of the Orbea but if it came on a bike you bought you would probably be satisfied........

    ***Update***

    Success!

Turns out it was the bracket for my Wolftooth pouch mounted to the under top tube accessory ‘bottle cage’ location.

Very disappointed none of the so called ‘experts’ properly diagnosed this one.

If the bike didn’t have that mount I would have just strapped a tube and tool to the frame like everyone else and saved myself some grief. However, I felt compelled to use the mount since it was there, just didn’t feel right not to.

Anyway, some helicopter tape between the frame and bracket solved the problem.

New bike will have a tool mount on bottom of top-tube. Currently I ride with a fanny pack with water bottles and tools, but thinking I can ditch the pack for <2h rides with water bottle and frame mounted shit on new bike via combo of top tube mount for tube/levers/stuff + EDC (Fox 38). Don't mind the fanny pack but would be sweet to skip it on the majority of my rides.

Anyone have a line on some Giro N1 (terraduro) buckle and ladder replacements?
They seem to be sold out everywhere.
Any know if there are any compatible replacements, like Sidi?

Let me look. I think I have some (or maybe just 1).
How many do you need? Do you have an incapacitated shoe, or you’re just looking to pick up spares?
