I'm sure it's been asked in this thread, but I'm lazy. What kind of w/kg should I be putting down to not get dropped like a little kid with handlebar streamers and training wheels on these group rides?

give or take 2.0-2.2 for the first lap, about 2.5 on the second lap and 3.0 on the third lap. the hill climb prolly goes like 3.5/4.0/4.5-15 but we'll cater to all so just do it and join when you can fit it into your schedule!

If you can hold 2.0 watts you can stay in the pack for majority of the ride.
    The event details says:
    45mins. 3 laps of Innsbruckring. 9km (5.6mi)/lap. Lap 1 stay together @ 2.0w/k, Lap 2 @ 2.5, Lap 3 @ 3.0, then race the last 4km from the climb.
But you can stay out of the wind in the pack at 2.0 and be fine.
We really do look after each other and don't just say "sorry you're too slow, you're dropped".

Cool thanks. I’m there then. I’m enjoying how much better I’m feeling on this long duration constant power output-type exercise. Mountain biking where I like to ride feels like it’s either 100% effort uphill or coasting downhill, so my cardio hasn’t been in the best shape. I’ll ride Innsbruckring a couple times this week to get a feel for the course and dial in my sock situation then try to join you next week.

I'll reiterate what others have said: come join! It's a good group, no one is like "Get lost, you're too slow" ever. When I joined I was minutes behind on lap three, and still sometimes am if I blow up. I'm also a mountain biker, and totally get that 100% effort uphill and then doing a descent. I've been doing the TGR rides about 1x a week on average, and throwing in another Zwift workout each week, and have seen a fitness improvement in just a few months. I'm not even adhering to a rigid training program, I'm not Zwift racing, etc. But the extra efforts seem to be making a difference.
The older I get, the faster I was.

    Punch it, Chewie.

    Damn he seems cool.

The Suit, as you might expect, has an excellent sense of style. Well, with the exception of with socks.

I laughed a little because I had seen it on Social Media already, but then had a really good laugh when I saw a runner in a full on space walk suit!

Had to wait my turn tonight. We just got a steering unit so between that and the big wheels the GF was hot to ride.

Singletrack riding is a hoot with the steering unit!
