Corn Horn was blowing all day at K. Superstar is skiing so good, not having that layer of FIS blue ice as a base is way more better!

Finally softened up. Living on the edge, and using my pole straps.

None and I thought a pic of a brown bag filled with buttered popcorn would be a terrible disappointment to the collective. Next year will be all soup, all the time.

I'll be out later, hoping enough is turning to test out some recent boot work before I commit to a coaching shift in actual race boots this weekend. Based on the wind in town, I'm going to go with "some lift operations may be affected" as the marketing folks say.

Some pics from yesterday on a line that is not a secret, but also doesn't need to be explicitly named on the internet. Southern end of Franconia Ridge.

There have been other TRs of this zone posted in this forum before. Let's just say everything they said about it being a total death march is 100% correct. Not worth it for the skiing - not this year, anyway. It yesterday it doable thru binoculars from the lot, but the thin snowpack is hiding lots of near-surface rocks. Ski and learn, i guess.

All-in-all a good adventure, if not a good ski.

Yes, we were still halfway up the mountain as the sun went down... pretty dumb. But we made it out safely, praise Ullr. Although Ra was a bigger player than ullr yesterday.

Yaa bub! Hit me up! White blue ski Maine baseball [emoji461] cap. Ask for change. Currently white heat quad away from the sheep! Winds not so bad. Soft enough and [emoji3508][emoji41]
