Did anyone else see the C130s flying through Franconia notch Sunday? Very low and banking hard.
Like this but 2 planes and snowy.

Pretty much only racers at Burke today which mean helmet sucking speeds were in order on Willougby and the Dippers.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.</p>
Had some incredible days at Burke long, long ago (the 80s, perhaps) and remember absolutely loving the terrain. Have a very clear vision of trucking down east Bowl (?) on a newly minted pair of 208 Kastle Super Gs. Scared the ever loving shite out of me. Also have an albeit foggier memory of outrunning Patrol on a closed Doug's Drop. Gotta get back to see how strong those memories hold![]()
Guessing it was the CT Air Guard. Similar incident a few years ago around Mt Mansfield. Tactical flying.

Excellent mid-week efforts by Mags all over. Keep them coming!
Burke has always been a place I've wanted to see. Funny too, I always imagined gates set on every trail there...
through the bump lines , in the trees, all over!
One morning at Tremblant, damn, like 8-9 years ago now, two CF-18’s did a flyby, came back around and one tipped its wings on the second pass. At most 1000’ above the summit, probably closer. It was pretty awesome! It was a Friday at the beginning of the 24h weekend. Pretty sweet way to start the weekend.
Also, we ended up in the top 20 that weekend, that was also a bonus.
50degrees at the base of Saddleback. Corn is cooked and tasty this morning!
^^^ Nice cat!
Some zones for future exploration when I’m not skiing alone...
and Legend Pro Riders in their element ready to slay some slush. So fun!
