We used to ride snowboards on that tiny hill to the south of the clubhouse. (1984 or so).
Had a good meal there with my parents a few years ago, Buffalo wings, Utica Greens, a beef on Weck, and some chicken riggies. And Finger Lakes wines and beers.
I am sure the chef would love this thread.
My parents live about 2 miles away.
The best Pizza for years in da ‘Cuse was Johnny’s Pizza next door in Julian Plaza.

Johnny’s is OIP now (original italian pizza)

Can still get a good hot sub there. They haven’t changed the decor much.

It was actually pretty crowded for Plattekill. The lot was full and there was some overflow parked on the road. That first pic was from the morning, before anybody was there.

Actually getting back to a few W NY resorts is on the list- tried for Cockaigne just this past weekend but too many with injuries or other plans. Swain also on that list along with Bristol Mountain- maybe back to back on a weekend...

So glad that the two times I skied Vail cost me under $30 each day. One was worth it, the other not so much. There's no way I'd pay that much for a day of skiing anywhere.
