Same here. There is not even a close comparison between a Friday 10 years ago and a Monday now. Can't even begin to describe a weekend.

Ontrac continues to suck. I think I ranted about them earlier in this thread.

Yesterday according to Ontrac: on vehicle for delivery... Weather prevents delivery.

Yesterday in reality: clear roads, nearly 50* temps, me washing cars in the driveway.

Thanks. I did just that. Their HR rep had no idea what I was talking about and said if it's not on the website anymore then it's simply not available. Wouldn't even let me submit a resume manually to anyone. Said I had to just keep checking their career page and hope for the best. Big company so I guess an utterly worthless HR department goes with the territory. Anybody else miss the good old days when you could drop into an office, shake some hands, drop off a business card and a resume, and land a job? I've landed some great jobs back then with that method. No mas.

Ontrac is the worst. I'd swear it's a money laundering operation run by the Russian Mafia (every driver here has a thick accent) but there's no way the Russian Mafia is that incompetent.

And they make not one iota of an attempt to become part of the community. It disgusts me. It's all take.

The idea of working with Montuck annoys me more than Nancy's frozen fish dicks in the work breakroom microwave....and I don't even have to eat or work in there.

Rivets on ski boots annoy me. Mrs C has a bent buckle hinge on one of her boots. I could remove it and hammer it straight easily, except all the hardware on those Tecnica Mach 1 are riveted on. The buckles are flimsy and riveted, but I can T nut those and reattach with proper hardware.

The annoying part are the cuff pivots are riveted to the lowers, with much bigger rivets, and have proprietary cuff cant eccentrics. If I cut the rivets out, I can't just T nut those. I can't access the backside of the buckle to install T nuts unless I detach the cuff from the lower.

I tried hammering the buckle straight while on the boot, and tried bending it with leverage. It just loosened the buckle rivets.

The fact that anytime an athlete does something unprecedented, especially involving age or recovery, at this point I have no choice but to wonder about drugs.

It’s not fair to anyone, but I guess that’s where we are.

FTR, I think Tom is as clean as a Safeway chicken. Nothing but kale juice and a bunch of tiger blood.
I still call it The Jake.

That is annoying. A mandatory party is by definition not a party. Nothing worse than fake conviviality.

I love Bob Costas' remark a couple of Super Bowls ago, after Gisella Bundchen asked everyone to pray for her husband.
"I think god has done enough for Tom Brady."

Anyway, Tampa D should have collectively got the MVP. Did the same thing to KC that they did to GB.

    The fucking wind.
    70mph+ winds on I80 today.
Used an entire tank of fuel (25 gallons) between Loveland, Co (front range) and Wamsutter, WY, (175 miles).
Ran out of gas, but I had a tank, so that was less annoying.

Cruise control into a head wind? I have almost stranded myself in the middle of nowhere US 80 for that very thing.

On a lighter note. Having to take drugs and give myself a shot every night!! consistency is key. I missed my 9PM time by an hour and a half again tonight. And even worse,, The shots usualy dont hurt. But tonight I hit a little nerve i guess. And it stung like a bitch! It happens just often enough to keep you from relaxing when you stick yourself.
