Ski racers, at least in Maine. I hear they cancelled in Vermont.

Benny at InnerBootWorks is great. Contemplating Epic pass next year so I can do new boots w Benny at Stowe.
Actually I’d say skiers do
Judging from the pic I just got from my daughter I’d say I taught her well. Better believe given the chance to get out and make turns today I’d be there with bells on.

I’ve seen worse images this year.

When I was in Carrabassett in 04, there was a two day period that Sugarloaf was closed. And by closed, I mean closed. The temps were -20 as a day time high and the wind was blowing 120 on top and 50-60 at school. They wouldn’t let us walk to the gym from school... that was cold. That was also the same month that while the rest of New England got 3inches of rain in a storm, the loaf and Jay got a 48” dump in less then 24 hours.
By the way. Two pairs of black crows touring skis for sale. Corvus FB with skins for 350 and a ferox with 4 runs on them for 500. A 183 and a 181.
NOAA for Albany: Here`s what you need to know since the previous updates:
1) Forecast models have shown a northwestward expansion of snowfall
that encompasses a good portion of the forecast area.
2) Forecast confidence is increasing on the fact that a good portion
of the forecast area will be impacted by this coastal storm.
3) Confidence is increasing that this will be a long-duration
storm with snow coming in as early as Sunday night/Monday
morning and persisting to Wednesday morning/afternoon.
4) There`s a wide range in snow totals as our preliminary snow total
forecast ranges from 2 inches northwest to about 8 inches southeast.
5) This storm system has overachiever potential given recent model
trends and some of the items mentioned above.
That Don't Make No Sense
I gotta get up to Maine somehow. I stole these pictures of Saddleback yesterday from Facebook. Ridiculous. No people.

Just go. Get a air b n b. Bring your shit with you. Don’t go out to dinner. Don’t go in places. I honestly think you may be the only one from Jersey that is listening to rules.... judging on the colorful display of license plates at bromley and Stratton and all through Manchester every weekend.
I’m going to cannon and to the loaf in a few weeks. Maybe saddleback as well.
I can see it in my near future.
Sugarloaf needs a little more snow, from what my buddy told me who was there this week.
Also Benny, change your license plate out from CT “ECTROLL” to ME “ILOVEME”

Saddle up. Just do it man. What’s holding you back. That looks so choice.
Speaking as one of the only skiers* I know who’s abiding by the rules in Jersey this year it’s fucking frustrating watching people around me just go without regard.

Tell me about it, try working in a ski shop in Vermont. I’m a front line worker, I should be eligible for the jab. It’s fucking ridiculous how many people just show up with no regard for the rules.
crab in my shoe mouth
I get it. My sisters been up there in same business 25+ years - says sales this year are through the roof, same there?

Truth. I haven’t gone out to eat dinner in my own state in 7 months because the restaurants are packed nightly with tourists.
Benny send it. None of us are going to hold it against you. I mean fuck. We are the ones that know how to boot up in parking lots and piss in the woods. If you were dragging a family a long I’d get it, but going to ski like an adult, fuck the rules.
