God bless her. I raised a victory pour of Woodford towards heaven where I know for a fact my Dad, watching below, was still shaking his head saying “I thought they’d blow it, but I’m so glad they didn’t”

I’m opening one for him right now B. I’ll toast it to him and a couple of mine that didn’t make it long enough. I hope they are throwing down up there tonight.

    Actually, I’m sure they are...

    Cheers to you to E!

I don't care how they did it, I don't care how they have to play them at full strength next week (hope the Browns are too), I don't care if they lose next week - but I hope they don't. I'm just happy for today. They have gone from decades of sadness to a team that I guarantee no one in the AFC would be happy to match up with round 1.

This team has an O line and a run game that can travel well in the playoffs. Baker has that chip on his shoulder again. Our head coach and GM have transformed the way this team does business in one season. 0-16 was just 3 seasons ago. 11-5 today.

    This is sea change.

Oh, and PPS, I was right:

That spear to Peoples-Jones' spine was such typical Steeler LB bullshit. No arms, no shoulders, just crown of the helmet to his spine. Hope he's ok; that Michigan Man was really becoming a huge target for Baker.

    Fucking 11-5. ELEVEN AND FIVE!

No one outside the Cleveland bubble knows how heavy that lift is. And I don’t care what anyone says, I’m riding with BAKER FUCKING MAYFIELD and long as he has a right fucking arm. Do you know how hard it is to win 11 damn games in Cleveland?!?! FKNA Baker!!!

If they beat the Steelers next week I may walk away from my job, move to JH, and ski happy the rest of my fucking life. I’d pay for a fucking Mayfield statue in front of First Energy, I tell you that.

    GO BROWNIES!!!

I think our friend Brian Kenny, as always, does a fair job of summing that weight up.

And FTR, I'm with you, BAKER MOTHERFUCKING MAYFIELD.

Woo Hoo! I like our chances right now. Despite losing our last two playoff appearances to the Steelers I have a feeling this one is gonna break our way. (if we can get our entire starting defense less Myles Garrett off the Covid list by then).

Knock it off. Just stop it. You know damn well both you and I will be far too drunk on Sunday night to be nervous.

This is 100% fact. Thanks for keeping me grounded. Did I tell you I've been a longtime member of a group on FB called "Stop Thinking Like Cleveland Sports Fans"? It is a most joyous day in there let me tell you. In fact I even found this gem from Baker and Emily Mayfield today in there.

I'm not crying, it's just really dusty in here from the box fan, I promise.

Bmills, Stephen A saying Browns can't win this weekend. Eff him. Baker's gonna be dancing on the Steelers logo after the game.

While the Stillers are certainly a good team, I for some reason feel like they can win this weekend.

Stephen A. can choke on a bag of dicks.

If Baker can make Rex Ryan sing his praises after he took up his headspace, rent free, for the entirety of last year, then surely he can shove it back in that blowhard's face Sunday night.
