49 was super windy this morning, with all lifts put on hold for the first hour. When I finally got to ski a run, the snow was actually better than I thought it would be.

No, not me. Keith Sheckler used to own the Windbag Marina in Sandpoint but has since sold it. He was Ski School Director at Schweitzer for a long time but left. You may be thinking of Ed Crosby? He was a Mt. Spokane guy, not an instructor, though. He bought a property on Sand Creek that I think may have been a marina at one time. I see him now and then but he skis mid-week and I'm still working so, mostly weekends for me. His crew was pretty good sized. We kind of had a different crew from his group but know everyone pretty well. Still see some of those guys fairly often but they mostly moved to Silver.

I was guessing you where Keith, I used to ski with his sons quite a bit and he was a friend of my pops!

yessir. caught some late afternoon runs. explored a little. tried out some new groomer zoomers i mounted last night & carved some nasty turns. saw views like this. met some lifties. all in all a sweet afternoon.

Long gondola line this morning. Then found out Chair 4 and 5 were both closed. [emoji51] Found some goods on chair 2 and in the trees off of 3.... and then chair 4 opened. Soooo good. Wardner was fantastic!!! White room all day. Lots of untracked lines. Best day of the season so far. Snow started to get heavy down low later in the day, but was still snowing when the lifts closed. I think tomorrow will still be fantastic.
