    Your dog disagrees.
    Oooh, yeah. Forgot about that.

Yes, the Bill's Mafia shows that pretty clearly.
100 people were surveyed by the NFL marketing department for their thoughts on a variety of things, among them, their attitude regarding each franchise. The word most-associated with the Bills in the responses was, in fact, "Character".

    You sure it wasn't: Characters...with a "s"?
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

New storyline for Sunday Night Football.

Jason Garrett tests positive for the rona so now disgraced Browns ex-coach Freddie "Pittsburgh Started It" Kitchens will be leading the Giants into battle against the Brownies.

That's weird. I thought Christmas was Friday, not Sunday.

I'm gonna have to start making popcorn now...

Mahomes is an unreal talent, no doubt, but there are just so many young talented QBs in the AFC right now that it's gonna be hard to dominate for any long, continuous period. Compete? Yes, be the sole dominant QB? Unlikely.

Off the top of my head you've got 3 Heismans and an MVP in just the AFC North alone in Jackson, Mayfield and Burrow. Add in Allen and Watson and it's a tough hill to climb.

I fell asleep and missed the 2nd half, but apparently Mayfield went full Uncle Rico and threw a ball over them mountains (of trash I assume because its Cleveland).

I'm going to rock some kids minds in a few years breaking the bit of trivia that Baker fucking Mayfield threw a ball further than anyone else.

I know it's early, but this has some strong PotD credentials to it.

I think Mahomes truly has GOAT qualities. He just makes everything look too easy. 6 rings will be hard to beat, but I think he ends up on the NFLs Mt Rushmore.

RE: the other AFC Quarterbacks, there is so much talent there, but all of them have to go against the Mahomes buzzsaw in January. I think Tyler Dunne NAILED it in his Josh Allen piece a few weeks ago:
Right now, all signs point to Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson serving as the football equivalents to Patrick Ewing and Gary Payton and Karl Malone. Talents mired in the era of a legend.

You should preserve that. It's one of the only optimistic posts about the Browns that's be written in the last 20 years. And, as such, there's a 93% chance it's wrong.

    I'm sticking with it though.

You’re not wrong. Baker’s game, as on display this year, is much more sustainable than Lamar’s. Full credit to how good Lamar is, but that man is running for his life with 11 other guys that want to crush him.

lamar is a step slower away from being out of the league in a year.

Lamar is 23. His 4.3 speed isn't going away anytime soon.
I'm a big fan. He's a very unique player. I love seeing guys win based on pure athleticism in the pros because it infuriates the traditionalists.
He's been sloppy this year, but if he can get closer to 2019 form, he's damn near unstoppable.

i'm not talking about him losing speed from age. i'm talking injury.

    NFL 2020/2021

You could say that about any pro player. A catastrophic injury that takes away your #1 strength will end most careers. But whatever ... Lamar has always been a love/hate player

They might hit the playoffs on a 5 game win streak - yikes

His 4.3 speed is gone already, if we are going to be pedantic about it. There are approximately 0 guys in the NFL who could hit their combine 40 time.

But he's so fast for a qb that his game will last him another few years of normal aging even if he doesn't make any more progress as a thrower.

true but there are few players as reliant solely on their speed as lamar.
