Oh God no.
Not really on topic, but, I heard this the other day, and it's a gem.

An upstater isn’t all that different from a masshole but he doesn’t feel the need to tell you where he’s from every five minutes.
good clip, though, Benny. He’s funny
Albany has a nice modern highway to Boston. Always been a strong connection. Plenty of Red Sox fans upstate.
fuck boston.....
fact.
Hey, better than Albany.
I'm coming at it strictly from a baseball perspective.
Oh, but thanks for Tito, Chowds!
I still call it The Jake.

Bristol opened today too. I've never been, is that place any good?
22 deg. Blacks. So yeah, loved it.

Oh, funny. Let me remember that one the next time you're posting pics of rocks and mud.
Bristol Mtn. Good times.
Wood skis from Sears.
Leather boots with BUCKLES!!
Stuffing brochures in your jeans for one more night lap on ice
Patrol sees any air under your skis and get a warning
My fist and only fist fight. With the bully on the ski trip bus.
Wilmer Alexander Jr and the Dukes playing in the summer
Last time I skied there was after taking the redeye from the PNW for some fine spring corn on slalom skis. Good times.

I live 30 mins from Bristol Mt. It's a reasonably fun hill. Better than a punch in the nuts.
I've been to the area but don't think I even realized there was a ski area there. No, not much of a ski town is it but NY has a few like that.
They have a pretty good freestyle program there--a couple kids from Bristol are on US mogul team. Its a weird hill. Really flat up top so you have to skate --uphill in one section--bottom has a bit of pitch eventually. Bad flow. Always seem to have half the trails closed off. Oh and the 1980's called and want their ski patrol jackets back.

Looks like they recruit from the local volunteer fire dept..
When you don't want to drive to VT or the 'Daks, Bristol is a fun hill.
There isn't much variety, but it has fast, steep lifts and you can rack up a ton of vertical.
