Bristol is a nice resort, a bit more vertical than some of the other Western NY resorts, but the little town closest to it Canandaigua, NY is no Ellicottville when it comes to things to do, restaurants, and all... Originally Posted by gravitylover

They have a pretty good freestyle program there--a couple kids from Bristol are on US mogul team. Its a weird hill. Really flat up top so you have to skate --uphill in one section--bottom has a bit of pitch eventually. Bad flow. Always seem to have half the trails closed off. Oh and the 1980's called and want their ski patrol jackets back.

When you don't want to drive to VT or the 'Daks, Bristol is a fun hill.
There isn't much variety, but it has fast, steep lifts and you can rack up a ton of vertical.
