I think he passed out.
I think he passed out.
Doubt he was born in the early first decade of the 20th century. "Buffalo Nickel was first introduced in 1913 and was minted every year through 1938 except for the years 1922, 1932 and 1933." Maybe he was around during the great depression years of '32 and '33 and that is the reason??
Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason
But was he older than Woolley, an upstate native?
I still call it The Jake.
Define "native"? I was born upstate but most of my life was not lived there. Am I a "native"? Generations of family in upstate, including parents who still mostly lived in NY, save for the 18 years before they moved back.

How old were you when you moved away? I lived my first 18 years in Mass., lived away for over double that, and am only back fully this year. Am I a Masshole? Fuck yeah. It's the formative years that count, in my book. Live someplace your first 16 or so years and you're as local as...well, more local than Benny at least.
I will not cop to being a LI native, nope. I left there as soon as I could, does that count for anything? The only thing the place is good for is reminding you what excessive taxation is all about, getting your traffic fix and surfing. I'm ok with the surfing part but everything else is why I left and don't want to be associated with the place.
Other than visiting friends, the only time I went to LI by choice was to watch the Jets practice in the summer. Late day jaunts to empty Jones' Beach afterwards were actually pretty special. And the greek diner just east from Hofstra had great slouvlaki. But fuk the LIE.
Yup. The only thing that makes L.I. livable are the beaches.
I think we found something we all agree on. LI sucks, except for the beaches.
Some of the beaches are way better than others. The thing that sucks is there are only a handful of places you can get on the sand without spending a whole bunch of money to park the car. For the most part expect about $15 for parking but it could be as high as $50 in some places if you're not a resident of that town, others you can't even stop the car to look at the beach if you don't have a private driveway to park in. Montauk is a pretty cool town (for 8 months a year) with a real base of normal working class people but otherwise pretty much every other town on LI sux. I don't understand how my dad and brother can handle the place, neither of them live more than about 25 miles from where they've lived their entire lives.
Jones Beach.
Looks like Bill Burr got caught with his alien girlfriend.
Is Bill from the Upstate?
I feel like he is.
I still call it The Jake.
I think the trees are different too.
