huh i didn't realize it was colored. Its black on my comp.
No day passes at crystal? I have to buy a pack or the local pass? IF i can get unemployment for this week sitting on my ass with a common cold, this girl should be good to ride,
You don't have to find me valid, but I'd appreciate it if you gender me correctly.
Oh.
So you just got fat is what I’m hearing.
Sad.
We could of used another chick around here. The 3 we have are saints for what they put up with and could use a break.

Quite the opposite. I'm 165lbs with 36Cs i pump that estradiol and progesterone llike I'm getting swoll. Instead my tits get swollen. For as chick I'm quite fit. Being a translesbian is preferable over being a cis-het male (im really pansexual, homoromantic - ie I will fuck anyone I'm attracted too and only date women.
I split with my babies momma so now I'm broke and kidless for an interm till I can get my own spot. Skiing obviously takes a priority, so today while I'm under quranatine I'm going to make love to my girls and get ready to hitch hike next weekend. The one things I've always been is have a bit of reckless abondone with my life when it comes to skiing. Ski or die.
So I’m at a loss of what to do if you are making your decision to ski or not at 6am based on snowfall, etc . Are you supposed to make a reservation just in case or try to make one the morning of ? Asking for a friend
Yes.
But honestly who knows. This weekend should give some good Intel on what's actually happening vs what they're saying online.
I have a really hard time believing they're going to turn people out of the lift line if they scan a pass without a reservation. Maybe ikon will blacklist you from a pass next year if you do it a bunch. Who knows. All I know is my unlimited pass sure doesn't seem unlimited.
I don't like the idea of a reservation system, but I understand why we need to have it given this unique season, so I'm fine with it. What I am very much not fine with is selling day tickets on days when Ikon or local passholders have exceeded the reservation limit. I agree with others here, day tickets should only be sold 24 hours ahead of time on days when reservation caps have not been met. I get that Crystal makes a good deal of money from day tickets, but screwing over season pass holders feels pretty shitty. It would be one thing if Ikon passholders, local passholders, and day ticket sales all had to make reservations at the same time. It's another thing entirely when Ikon slots are maxed out, but day tickets are still being sold. Such BS.
Say what you will about Vail, and trust me, I have a lot of negative things to say, but they did a much better job planning for this season than Alterra did. Vail planned for the worst by starting off with a reservation system, whereas Alterra claimed that Crystal wouldn't require reservations...until days before Crystal opened. At least people buying Epic Passes knew what they were getting into. Again, I don't fault Crystal for doing reservations, it's probably the right thing to do now, what I'm pissed about is the bait-and-switch. Honestly, I'm not surprised at all that Crystal went the reservations route, and if I'm not surprised, you have to imagine that the higher-ups at Alterra probably had a good idea that it was coming down the line but chose not to say anything about it until after most passes were sold.
I know that skiing is already an expensive sport, but for next season, unlimited Crystal should only be part of the full Ikon Pass, whereas the Base Pass should only have 5 holiday-restricted days. And let's increase the price of the full Ikon Pass while we're at it. With a growing population and increasing appetite for powder, we have to limit access to the resorts unless we want them to be insanely crowded. I would be in full support of increasing the supply of lift-served skiing by expanding existing resorts or adding new ones, but that's not going to happen. Without price increases, caps on the number of passes sold (fat chance), or permanent reservations systems, this shit is going to keep getting crazier.
Cuz it isn’t. Shit is fucked up. Also agree with parking pass comments above.
Today was good skiing and the upside of what they’re doing is very manageable crowds.
We just checked and couldn’t see where a day ticket was available when a pass holder res was not, but didn’t dig too deep on that.
Also, how the hell do I make/manage my reservation on the ikon app?

Well said. I think they should have a much finer granularity on how many ski days you want and where you want to ski. 5/10/15/20/Unlimited day options. Local resorts or everywhere.
When you have only 15 days, you’ll think twice about whether you want to ski a given Saturday. When you have unlimited you don’t even think.
Also, I hate to say it, but maybe reservations should always be required with a top-of-the-line pass option that doesn’t require them.
They can still make the same amount of money by increasing prices and adding granularity. And for the majority of users it won’t affect access or their price. For the small subset here it will affect your price, probably by thousands. But hey, that might be worth it to ski without the clusterfuck and get up at 6am instead of 4qm.
