To those who bring us the TR's

Damn, this board is evolving. I am amazed at the quantity and quality of the TR's lately. Specifically, todays TR's are awesome. Who would have thought you could get as much stoke on a message board in one day as you can in a slew of magazines. To those who have brought the stoke lately, my glass is raised. And to those who consistently share their art and words with us, you deserve a medal.

It's almost scary to think what the future TR's will bring.

I have to say, I've ended my subscription to Powder and Couloir mag recently just because I seem to find all the latest on the ski world just by scanning the board. Makes you wonder about the future of ski mags and videos in general.

Well said, str8. I'm dishing out another thumbs-up for the stokers:
    I'm running out of thumbs.

Agreed; the TR quality this year has been amazing. I'll drink to that first thing in the morning.

    I agree,
I could not have said it better myself.
This site has really broadened my daydreams of (what is possible)

I now own a complete AT setup for day trips and 3 pairs of fat skis. You bastards

I will still buy the Ski rags, I know some of you earn your living in that medium and would hate to see your efforts here impact your livelihoods.

I am totally amazed at how this place has progressed over the years. Have never seen anything like it. One of the coolest things I have seen. I remember back in the day of the powdermag board when I could go over a months worth of posts, now it is too much just to see what happened the last couple of days.

TR's here serve as the greatest inspiration to me--more than movies or magazines because everyone on here is just like me and I'm just like them. Some of our regular TR authors are outta my own universe, like Trackhead or some of the big boosters, but I draw huge fuel knowing that these sickening pics and stories come from unsponsored, soul driven searchers just like me.

    Thanks y'all.

    Hell Yeah!
I am also amazed at the evolution of the TGR TR this year, especially when you think about what it used to be like on powmag years ago, with lots of the same people... i need to get a digital camera and start contributing, perhaps that would make it snow down here.
Keep up the good work TR posters! It is a noble, noble cause!

With this post and Grizzle's post with all the awesome pics I feel bad for holding back this year. Maybe we'll have to start posting "A" pics anyway. It does seem like the right thing to do.

Hear, hear str8line! Props to all the TR posters. I know they get me stoked!

It looks like it's been a damn good snow year for most of the country. If you live someone that's not getting pounded I hope you're looking at flights or getting your vehicle ready for a road trip.

Yeah, kudos to everyone that posts TR's. The quality and volume are amazing this year. This stuff gets me through the day in front of the computer.

It both humbles and motivates me to see the stuff that fellow mags post on here. While I've been posting a lot of "me too" posts (and gear buying ), I aspire to contribute to the stokeage. I'll get there!

    Keep up the good work!

    Cheers!

I nominate this past weekend to be the most stoke-filled weekend in recent internet-geek/get-after-it skier history.

I enjoy the trip reports while taking a mild sedative for my interrupting boil. It likes to pipe up while I am looking at color photos and is constantly asking for Musrooms, Mescaline, and Marijuana (the three M's) What can I say but that I am going to get him lanced. A high boil is no good thing to have.

Good on YE for TR's (and by YE I mean those in league with the caramel consortium) (nudge nudge, wink wink)

str8line, I could not agree with you more on this one.

While I did get down on the Alta TRs, they do fill me with stoke and keep me wanting more time on snow.

The pictures, the words, the emotions that people are pouring out...amazing.

...and they continue to inspire me to find new places and ski new lines.

Keep em coming, we're all waiting for them.

Anyone notice most of the responses to every TR come from the people that live in that respective state/area? It's the dickwaver followed by the fluffer syndrome.

so what do you want the forum to be?

    ugh...nevermind. arguing w/alias. Duh.

anyway...this thread is the final straw. Trigger pulled on Canon A610. I don't own my own computer, but I'm getting a digital camera. I should be able to upload from work.

    booya.
