My youngest is in her zoom pre-k class and one of the kids is named Charlie.
Hes the big helper today, so the teacher keeps saying his name over and over again, and it sounds just like the old Charlie the Unicorn flash

Mounted some Griffons on a Line Chronic last Saturday......no problem.....Come in today to my shop and see the same ski/binding in my “to do” stack.....this time as an adjust to the new boots he just bought this week....lol. Well.....of course, his new boots/size lead to having to do a remount.....

Amusing...why the hell do you buy a new ski/ binding....get it mounted....then 2 days later go buy new boots (go up 2 sizes from previous boot size?) and now have to have everything remounted.....lol.

Backroom shop work is very amusing.......

Why the hell did he get new boots 2 sizes larger than his old boots. Hope it wasn't your shop that sold him oversized boots.

No idea?...that’s why I thought it was amusing....He came in this afternoon after I called him about his “issue”.....so I talked to him about his remount on his new skis....(he wasn’t sure the boot he brought in for the original mount was actually his...lol.)

It’s pretty typical here in NEPA....it’s why we still haven’t finished counting votes in PA.....

*We got customers that request their Mantras, Brahmas, etc.... to be mounted “true center”......then when I call them to ask/tell them what true center means..they say “oh, ok...my buddy told me to mount my new skis true center cuz that’s the best.”🥴

    That’s what I’m dealing with here.....[emoji56]

Female banded mongooses lead their groups into fights then try to mate with enemy males in the chaos of battle, new research shows.

Mongooses rarely leave the group into which they are born, meaning members are usually genetically related - and the new study reveals how females get round the problem of inbreeding.

The research team - led by the University of Exeter and the University of Cambridge - say females start fights for the genetic benefits of finding unrelated males.

Meanwhile, males bear the costs of these fights, in which injuries and deaths are common.

The researchers say "exploitative leadership" of this kind, which is also seen in human warfare, leads to frequent and damaging conflicts.

"We've known for some time that banded mongoose groups often engage in violent battles - and now we know why," said Professor Michael Cant, of the Centre for Ecology and Conservation on Exeter's Penryn Campus in Cornwall.

"Females start fights between groups to gain genetic benefits from mating with outsiders, while the males within their group - and the group as a whole - pay the costs.

Love to learn how a female mongoose "starts" a fight.

had a fixed ropes systems class tonight and literally half the class was morbidly obese. watched two 450lb+ firefighters try to make swiss seats and come up multiple feet shy on webbing.
