Wait wait wait, I’m just getting caught up.
Grinch’s motor crapped out right away and he was riding it off the gondy all summer without power?! WTF?! Aaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
No wonder he’s such a grumpy, sensitive bitch. I’d be pissed too.

    Walk assist =?

Ebikes have a mode to help people push them on the trail? These "riders" are so bad at riding a bike that they need an electric motor to help them push?

(There, that ought to set off some quality turd flinging.)

It’s actually pretty useful and no, it’s still class 1.

I use it on steep snow covered pitches.

Don’t kid yourself. Unless you checkout prematurely, you’ll all be on one at some point.

Itd be priceless to see the look on danthelilgirl's face when his mini shredder gets back from bike camp and all the kids want emtb's because the pro coach loves them. "Dad i want an eeb! Theyre so rad. Im going to save all my paper route $ for one!" Lololol. Ill pay for the bell on his bar to get the ol fella out the way on the climb. #dingding

I'm actually a big fan of moped bicycle riding and true discussion of the topic. Too much bullshit and noise in this thread now for it to have any positive inspiration.

Grinch, I'm genuinely happy you get to ride so much. Eeb therapy is way cheaper by the hour than psychotherapy. You probably agree!
Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.

I have no doubt I'll be on one eventually and possibly sooner if I was in an area where the terrain would warrant it more than here. So essentially what I'm saying is Rog is a giant pussy, because you don't need an ebike here with the lack of vert and lack of wilderness just to gain access to some remote ride.

And fuck, my roots are based in motocross, not road biking, so ebike is just a cleaner burning pos moto!

You should atleast try one and report back. Maybe theres a demo. Theyre just going to add a couple mph to your janky east coast terrain. Those couple of mph just add flow over those generally slower trails. Great for wet roots and rocks with the little motor over run. Shouldnt be an issue with other user conflicts on those trails at all. My ec home city is down with them and theyve been seeing nothing but positive outcomes.

These look sweet. Lots of options to build the bike up for usage/travel and even custom measurements for cheap. Polini motor is one to watch. Completely rebuildable by the user. Im in a wait and see on polini but as is it sounds like theyve got it. MDE builds cool bikes, E or P bikes
Atm im still looking at a custom nicolei with bosch gen 4(hopefully nicolei's new gearbox is released soon)

Currently the only e bicycle in the family is the radwagon kid hauler. Easing my way into electric bikes only due to cost. I think I'll PM you when I'm getting serious about a proper mountain bike since I'm a hack and keeping up with bike specifics in this thread is... difficult. Ha.

I'll be asking about the hauler or commuters. I figure itd be nice to have , especially if it uses the same battery as my emtb. Its nice being back to not using my truck as much now that i have a new motor. Rather buy toys than gas.

10/4. Part the reason for the reply was yesterdays ride. I just havent been on slower xc rides in a bit but have something planned like that a little out of the way so i did something closer to home yesterday that was like that. Its a fun trail that has some rooty short steep climbs and a real challenge to clean in the wet on the p bike. Still a challenge on the emtb but the added flow with the eeb makes it one of my favourite trails with a little moisture and there's zero people then. I saw 5 people in 3 1/2 hrs yesterday. Very peaceful. I'd be splitting my time between my E and P bikes but i blew my rear rim on my meta so almost back together. The E gives me another option to escape the hordes, especially in the wet

Do you like the radwagon? We're most likely going to snag one in after winter

Ya bosch for me atm. A wait and see on the polini. Ill give them a year before id commit to them. Yamaha are good too, especially if you buy a giant. Giant look after any issue with the motor and they stock lots of parts. Most bike companies have you deal with the motor company. I have heard of a couple problems with yamaha recently though but most reports are good. The nicolei with the bosch is the dream bike but the orbea wild fs could be a contenda. Good reviews, bosch gen4, good geo, decent price and a looker. Beaver says they'll be selling them and thats only a couple hrs down the road.
You still have the haibike? Bosch or yami ?

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues
