Yes. It's great value for the money. Hauls kids and cargo well. Battery life and range has been good. Hub motor is great unless you will ride hilly terrain regularly.

The current version (gen 4) went to silly proprietary 23(?)inch wheels and 3 inch tires. 2019 and previous are 26" and feel plenty stable and low center of gravity in my opinion. Good used deals to be found with extra accessories (which can add up fast if bought separately)
Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.

Fuck man, you jumped on board making all sorts of assumptions about me because your reading comp is biased by your need to lash out at an opposing point of view. Which wasn’t actually an opposing point of view.

You started this bullshit with me. Own it.

Would have been gone days ago if you didn’t quote it and get all pinched.

You fucking twat, if you had just said you don't like ebikes or stated they shouldn't be on non motorized trails fair enough that's your right to an opinion but you had to go on and on about how a couple guys ruined you and your wife's day by looking for trails to ride on their phones. You also had to toss in the e douche name calling at the end of your post, Then you admit you will came back just to piss off the Grinch.....

He’s a query for you grinch... what would cause an ebike to smell like a old burnt up electric motor? First time it happened but when I passed an ebike today for like 1/8 mile after smelled really putrid fumes.

Ever happened to you or other ebikes?

Naw, I’m pissy cause I’m not riding not surfing. Shoulder blown out.

Yeah, I’m no dentist either, but that doesn’t bother me. Had a chance to get a sweet superfly with a spare battery for $2500. Great price but could not swing it, cause bills are real in my world. I learned years ago that I don’t need the nicest toys to have fun. And, honestly I’d rather be on a light short travel peddle bike that a heavy mid travel e bike. Just like the feel of a light bike better. But, sure , if I was a dentist, I’d have an e Enduro as well as a trail style peddle and a hardtail XC and gravel and an e town bike too. Why the fuck not?

Speaking of dentist the 2021 superfly is for sure a dentist bike. 4 piston brakes, decent travel, fully equipped endorse bike with full fenders and rear rack to carry the groceries on. Full on Frankenbike.

Still laughing at how pissed and presumptuous pano dude is. And he thinks my day was ruined. Poor boy. I’ll look for him quoting in a few days.

I’d ride with ya Grinch. I don’t give two shits what anyone rides. I wait for people all the time. And others was for me. But don’t fucking block the trail and stare at your phone.

Anyway. Learned a good rule the other day for you e dudes who like to get back there. Be prepared to peddle that bitch out. Go over the handle bars and lose have that computer get tossed, you can look for an hour through the brush and still come up empty. Motor don’t work without a brain.

Old people? Who knows what they eat.
Im not sure. I have a theory on why my tourque sensor died and i suspect its some longer climbs on the moto trails using boost rather then shorter laps on eco and trail mode. Thats when i noticed some heat but it wasnt super hot or have a smell

Dude was old as fuck, helmet strapped to his handle bars... you know... cuz he wasn’t planing crashing (facepalm).

Gotcha, yeah figured he was running it hard on boost as he did not appear to be at his ideal fighting weight but wasn’t sure.

Different bike under a light weight or fitter rider. Bikes a better climber and the batteries last a lot longer. I need boost only on that early season trail but the battery only lasts 1 1/2 hour tops then. 4hrs or more with eco and some trail. I imagine the big people get them hot. I wouldnt think it last long if its starts to smell but its all new to me and im no sparky

Y'all heard about this 35lb e-bike that is getting released in a couple of weeks? I didn't get specifics but supposed to be pretty cool. From a euro brand.

BH is a euro brand, they already have a sub 35lb e-bike and have had it for 3+ years. I serviced one last fall with a torched controller.

Put my order in for a Trek Rail, half my riding crew will be on Ebikes next season. I predict the whole crew will be on them by the end of the season.

Nice looking bikes. I see some nice builds on them. There's a thread on emtb forums of people doing up their rails. A couple really nice ones. T mo had a 180 fork on hers at the ewsE and im betting a 60mm stroke shock

Nothing to add to the trail application of motorized bikes of this thread, but I just got a RadRover for beer runs and traffic dodging...and it is the shit.

    ...carry on.
