Driving behind an old pathfinder in decent shape today and thinking I should ask them if they’re interested in selling because someone I know from the internet is looking for it.

Guy trying to wing board in a flat calm. Holding the wing up looks like a lot of work. Kind of like the torture water polo coaches like to inflict--treading water holding up milk jugs full of water in both hands. Wind would help.

Women steals public works truck to try to pull her car out of a ditch.

The Sierra Sun used to have some great police reports. I haven't seen one in years. My favorite was when a neighbor called the cops because she thought her neighbor's house at been broken into and vandalized. The investigation determined that it was just bad housekeeping.

That’s one of my favorite dad jokes to pull. When I walk into a room or house that’s a total mess I’ll offer to call the police because the place looks like it was broken into and tossed. But ^that was IRL.

This was in a RFQ for some stream restoration work:

“Firstly, a diversion dam similar to the one depicted on page 25 (Section 11.0, Option 4) of the ROI will be constructed at a perineal spring near location GT-004”

Emphasis mine. I'm tempted to ask the issuing agency if anyone has checked to see if the stream has a prostate condition.

More likely a yeast infection. I'm sure whoever wrote that will blame it on autocorrect.

Today, driving down Mt Rose highway after going for bike ride up high to escape the smoke -- being followed closely by aggro driver in older Land Cruiser honking incessantly at us to pull over so she can pass. We're not going *that* slow, though it was in our camper truck, and maybe she just didn't like looking at the awesome beauty of it. Pulled over into slow vehicle pullout to let her by -- but not stopping, just slowing, so she can pass. Aggro woman slows down in the road to gesticulate wildly and yell, though because her windows were all up, we couldn't hear a thing. She realizes that I'm not stopping, so finally she passes... and proceeds to drive about 2-3 mph faster than we were going anyway.

    People are weird. But amusing.

Went to REI in Sacto to return a pair of damaged skis they sent me. They have a greeter inside the door to tell everyone they have to keep their mask on. I stop on the dot where it says to stop--6 feet from the greeter. Young guy behind me is about 2 feet away. I nicely ask him to please back up. He says, no--you move forward. Then the greeter starts her spiel, but I have to tell her I can't hear a word she's saying because the guy behind me is ranting loudly. Finally he shuts up, she says her piece and we go in. I was sorely tempted to put the skis over my shoulder and "accidentally" take him out with a sharp pivot.

My friend was accidentally sent a $100 bottle of shampoo and they don't want it back.

I've now washed my balls with $100 shampoo. TBD if anything cool happens

Your friend better check his cc statement. My kid got sent some very expensive cosmetics ordered by someone who stole his cc number and billing address and the company sent them to the billing address instead of the scammer's mailing address.

    Pointy end goes back.

I use my cart in the grocery store to enforce distance. I often keep it behind me, and the more I am encroached upon, the more I will wield the cart. It's not six feet however I have been able to get my point across on several occasions.

The fact that this lady believes that 45 year old boots can get $50.

But hey, if someone wants these for their Spademan bindings, let me know and I'll help facilitate the purchase.
